Do people still eat frozen meals!

God, as a 80's latchkey kid with a single mom I was basically raised on Stouffer's Mac and Cheese. I LOVED that stuff.

I buy frozen tempura shrimp and my insanely picky eaters love it for a quick meal, and I love several of the TJ's entrees.

Zero shame!

Trader Joe’s Kung Pao chicken. It’s better than in most restaurants. I add more sautéed peppers.
Also great rolled in lettuce leaves.

I was a latchkey kid, and our freezer was usually stocked with chicken pot pie or salisbury steak or turkey meal for occasions when both of my parents were so busy working and I would have to feed my younger siblings and myself. My friends are all amazed that I actually eat this garbage, because I am quite the foodie these days. However, there is definitely a nostalgia factor to the cravings.

Yep! I confess to enjoying them too. I don’t eat Salisbury Steak but I love my Swanson’s turkey dinners. I’m sure the DCUM community will look down on this. Yet, I also am a great cook/baker and usually cook/bake from scratch. It’s just that sometimes when it’s just me and I don’t have a lot of energy, it’s an easy and tasty option. And I do keep my freezer stocked with Stouffers Mac and Cheese for my teens who need a quick meal option after school. I know most people are saying yuck but oh well.

I feel like some/most frozen entrees are probably better than fast food?
