I'm sorry that you don't have any friends to ask this stupid question to. |
Aha. This is the post that made me realize OP is trolling us. You went just a tiny bit too far here, OP. Nice try though, you nearly got me. |
I knew it. |
What is wrong with you? |
I never have any water leaks! What kind of waters are you all buying?! |
We used the thermos kids bottles with straw parts that you can take out and run through the dishwasher. Use one of those plastic DW containers that you would use for baby bottle parts if you need to. And then plaster them with labels with your kids name on them. If they don't come home visit the lost and found. have a couple extra on hand. |
I mean, insisting that your kid shouldn’t have a water bottle is a pretty bizarre hill to die on. |
As it gets hotter on the playgrounds the kids should have water bottles with them. There are articles about slides burning kids and schools needing air con that historically never needed it before. The world is just getting hotter and schools usually don’t have shade in the playground. It turns out that “123 that’s enough for me” we had kids chant at the water fountain is not enough water for a kid during our hot summers. |
Some of us have standards. But go on with your UPFs. |
Both cell phones and water bottles are totally optional. If your school requires either, they need to provide them. |
Eh, I lived in a place much hotter than here and remember those "123 that's enough for me" days. If kids are drinking during meals and outside of school, they don't need to bring a water bottle around because of the heat. Many kids are more comfortable having access to water during the day, and that's enough of a reason to say that things should change. |
Guys, OP hasn't been back since she was called out as being a troll. |
It's not that kids *have* to do that, it's that your kid *is* doing that. He's being a pain about getting water. Obviously. |
Love me some UPF’s. |
