Biden is a profoundly weak candidate. The vast, vast majority of Americans think he is far too old to be president for another four years. It is extremely unlikely that he will be remotely functional at the age of 86.

To put it in perspective, according to WSJ polling, if Republicans were to nominate Nikki Haley, she beats Biden by 19 points. It would be a historic landslide.

The only thing working in Biden's favor is Trump. A toaster oven could beat Trump. But Biden's deficiencies are what keeps Trump not just competitive, but likely to win the presidency. If Democrats had nominated a reasonably sane candidate under the age of 60 - say Whitmer or Beshear - this wouldn't be a race at all.

Instead, we are likely looking at a second Trump presidency. That's how weak Biden is. Should have gone with the toaster oven over a rapidly declining geriatric. It's such a low bar this election. One third of this country is batsh#t insane. All Democrats needed to do was put up a vaguely competent and healthy nominee. Instead, we have the nursing home candidate. And batsh#t insane is going to beat that.

There won't be a second Trump presidency. And...if Haley wins the nomination, then the Dems will nominate someone else at the DNC that comes after the RNC in August.

Problem is that he rarely takes questions from journalists. And, when he does it is out under the helicopter where it is hard to hear.
Biden would simply claim he couldn't hear the question if he doesn't know the answer to it.

I wonder what the plan really is for this election. A Torricelli-style switcheroo in October if Trump looks like he is going to win? That’s my bet, assuming Biden doesn’t step down first. No way he is up to a four year term in his current state.
