What fairytale are you reading?

DP. Are you not aware that Trump had Iran under crippling sanctions, killed the head of their state terror organization, and used the Abraham accords to cripple them?

Then Biden took over, reversed the Abraham Accords, lifted sanctions, made publicly demeaning statements about our regional allies. He took the houthis off the terror list.

We look weak, pathetic, and afraid of Iran. That invites violence and aggression. They very clearly said that Oct 7 was in retaliation for Biden doing all of the above, and then flip-flopping when he realized his mistake.

Biden just wants to be friends with Iran. It’s actually very sweet.

What a weird take, given we are bombing the crap out of Iran's folks in Yemen.

Those folks that he took OFF the terror list within days of entering office? Those guys?

What a lying sack of trash.

These countries have REPEATEDLY proclaimed that (1) Israel’s conduct in the region, and (2) the unconditional, blind support from the U.S. propping up the apartheid Israeli regime are the sole reason for their aggressions. They have zero incentive to conceal their motivations. They are saying that Israel’s actions are the root cause of it all.

But you think it’s Biden? What a weird, warped world you must live in - either to believe that fairytale, or to believe that others will believe that you believe that fairytale. Psychotic, really.

Biden himself said this was about the Abraham Accords. So is he a lying sack of trash too? Or do we have to put our hands on our ears and pretend he didn't also say i

It's also, btw, really telling that you believe the propaganda narrative of a literal terror organization above Biden's word, expert analysis, etc. It never ceases to amaze me how all these people who've probably never even been to the region can become completely radicalized because they associate terrorists with the underdog, and because a keffiyah looks cool.

DP Biden will say and do anything for Israel. He is a self proclaimed Zionist and as such puts Israel first over everything. He will go to war with Iran and the vast majority of the Middle East. The cost to the US is unimportant as long as he can support Netanyahu’s government. Remember Biden could pressure Israel to stop the slaughter in Gaza and reduce tension in the region overnight but Biden is uninterested in that option.

If you spend any time watching the footage from Ukraine, you'll know that drones are absolutely brutal.

I don't have a lot of faith in Biden, but suspect they are presently building a coalition that includes Arab states. And they'll go hard. I don't think they'll hit Iran directly. But Iran has proxy armies all over the region. Don't think they'll hit Hamas. No one one wants to get involved with that. Don't think they'll hit Hezbollah, since they've been reasonably responsible and don't want the fight.

But I suspect Iranian backed militias in Iraq and Syria, as well as the Houthis, are going to get wrecked in the coming weeks.

We shall see.

Iran is causing a lot of chaos in the Middle East lately.

Would watch carrier groups. No one is invading Iran. But suspect the US and its allies will bring it.

A coalition of the willing? How’d that work out last time for the Americans?

And you'll say anything to promote the idea that the US is the root of all evil. That region can do bad all by itself, they don't need our help, but the least we can do is promote the interests of the nations there that don't want endless war.

My insiders tell me Biden’s strategic move will be to switch from Cream of Wheat to oatmeal as his breakfast meal. Yet another decisive move that will no doubt not be enough for the terrible Trumpers, who haven’t recognized the genius that’s been on display for 3 glorious years. Hail to the Chief!!

Yes I was think of this. If you are black Bill Ackman and company will make sure you can never be the president of Harvard but you can die in the desert for Israel.

Let’s see which country beside Israel(lol) would participate in the coalition? Egypt seems to be out given that Israel is openly talking about invade part of its country but will just occupy it for a little while. Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Kuwait, Turkey and Oman are out. Does not leave many willing to join the fight. Guess they are afraid of their own population?

It’s not in anyone’s interest to follow the Americans into another Middle East quagmire and subsequent defeat.

NP. Ummm the US’s actions in the Middle East have done more to promote perpetual war than anything.

What is THEIR incentive to conceal their motivation? There’s none. It makes zero sense to ascribe their discontent to anything other than what they have said.

Besides, exactly one of the players involved in the Abraham Accords stand to benefit without any concession, without any cost at all - Israel. So I’m not sure why you have responded with this clumsy distinction without a difference.

But if it helps, and it’s sad to say after supporting him for a long time, I think Joe Biden is a craven, weak leader whose conduct toward Israel has ALWAYS been embarrassing and “bad for America” and this country’s interests. The only reason he’s President is because the alternative was so exceptionally loathesome to most sane people four years ago.
