No. It’s not. If this is the same poster who said 145 is “very fat” seek help. You have serious issues and I’m sure are a miserable wench.

It is overweight. I was this weight and lost weight to 120. At 145, I was overweight and I am big boned also. Obese is a stretch, but no matter what you call it, it’s more weight than necessary for that height.

People have no concept these days of what is actually a normal size.

anorexic or bulimic???

I would be upset as well. That is very heavy. Keep in mind vanity sizes. You wear a medium….a couple years ago you would have been xl probably.

145 is "Very heavy" good god you're an ass.

That poster was a jerk, but at 5", it is 9 pounds shy of obese. I say that as someone who is much taller and was obese until fairly recently, but still overweight.

I’m 115 but have very low body fat. I’m an athlete. If I get any lighter I look gross- as it is I’m leaner than I’d like - 120 is perfect for me. Like other posters I have a muscular frame, wear a size 9, huge hands. High ape index which has served me well from college sports till today. Muscle is heavy! Some people can be 115 and look heavy- I have veins sticking out at that weight and a defined six pack. Bodies are funny. Remember- love yourself how you are - 145 could look overweight or incredibly fit at 5’2 depending on your frame- PP calling you fat/onese is just a mean jerk.

Who calls unknown people fat anonymously? Only people with issues with their own weight or self confidence.

At 5'2" according to BMI charts:

Underweight: Below 104
Normal: 104-135
Overweight: 136 - 163
Obese: 164+

But we all know that BMI is total and complete BS, right? Or are we disordered and don't understand that?

I think you are a good weight

Yikes I’m 5’2 and 128 and thought my target weight should be 120 (I’m three months postpartum and had GD so losing weight and low carb diet are non negotiable for me). Now I’m thinking I should shoot for 115. I don’t exercise at the moment because I simply don’t have time but am planning to start strength training and Pilates soon.

Previous poster who is currently 112 - I am pretty comfortable up to 123 to be honest. Just see how you feel as you get back into your routine. Also three months post Partum is so so early please be gentle with yourself.

I’m 43 and 5 feet 1.5 inches last I checked! I am around 110-113 most of the time these past few years but was previously around 115-118 or sometimes higher. I have been working out and tracking calories on and off for years. A few years ago I just decided I would cut to a slightly lower weight so I could see the muscles I was working to build. I’ve pretty much stayed there since. I mostly don’t track now, but I know the basics of what I need each day for calories and protein. But I lift heavy 3 times a week for 30-40 mins, do cardio 2-3 times and walk when I can.

180 and about to explore weight loss drugs. I’m 55 and my weight has crept from 119 in my 20’s to where I am now. I’d be happy and healthy at 135-140. There’s no way I could get down to the 120’s and maintain it.

This is a good point. Also, I think your overall build can affect the ideal weight.

I am a petite person (wear a size 5 shoe), have small A cups, etc. 105-110 looks very healthy on me (I still have enough meat at that weight not to look sickly), but I am sure there are other women who would look awful at that weight and need more pounds.

Yeah same. Your frame has a huge impact on what the weight looks like. I’m also a 5.5 shoe, A cup, small framed 5’2. Also lean and muscular from weight training. I weigh 104-105 and and look thin but healthy- I’d look awful at 120 (did look awful when I was 120 in college because I ate like garbage) but on other women, they look great at this height with 120 on their frame. Depends on the person.

I was thinking I would look so frail at a lot of these weights that I haven't seen since I was a teen! I'm an inch taller and muscular, size 9 shoes, hourglass DDs. Look best around 135-140.
