What is your weight at 5 foot 2 inches?

Anonymous
I am in my mid 40s and hover between 124 and 126 pounds at 5 foot 2 inches. I know I am technically at a healthy weight but I can’t help thinking I would look and feel better if I lost a few pounds. I work out three days a week and eat relatively healthy. I wouldn’t mind being 120 pounds or even a little less.

What weight are you if you are 5 foot 2 and what does it take to stay there?

I’m 5’2” and weigh about the same as you. I got down to 119 last year and thought I looked great. But stressors came up and I’m back at this weight. Compared to most people around me, I still think I look pretty good.

I am 47 and the exact same height and weight as you - sorry, no advice!

I was always around 120 until maybe 1-2 years ago and the added 5 pounds seem to come on quite suddenly with no diet/exercise changes. Maybe I'm in peri-menopause? The weird thing is, I can't tell that I look any different. I am pretty sure the weight did not come from adding muscle, as I don't work out that hard.

I am torn between wanting to fight to get those 5 lbs off, or just accepting that this is my new normal.

55, and currently trying weigh 122. And I still have a jelly belly that I hate. I guess 3 kids will do that to you! I eat what feels like very little (lost a lot of weight a few years back):
Breakfast is Greek yogurt or cottage cheese
Lunch is a salad (greens/vegetables and grilled chicken or chic peas)
Dinner is protein and more veggies. Occasionally a plain sweet potato or quinoa.

I avoid most carbs, and snack on fruit, or air popped popcorn

140. I only know because I had a physical recently. Generally speaking I don’t care. I actually look cute with the way the weight is distributed but at age 40 all I want is to be healthy.

130. I am 53 years old. I have given up on losing weight (though I don't eat a ton of junk and try to be healthy). The effort it would take to lose the 5-8 lbs is not worth it to me at this point in my life.

Between 104 and 108 but I have small and light bones.

122. I would prefer to be about 116 but I’m 45 and it takes almost no effort to remain at 122 and Herculean effort to go down to 116, so I try not to get too hung up on it.

I’m 114 but was 117 for years and am trying to get down to 108, which is much more comfortable for me. Mid 40’s and it is so challenging to lose weight!

I love what I look like at 124 but I can rarely have dessert at that size. I get dessert a few times a week at 127 so I pick 127.
