Actually they only lost by 2 pts! Crazy game. |
It’s 36th among national universities. Just stop with the “finishing school” idiocy, it makes you sound immensely stupid. |
It says "right now". Don't teach reading comprehension at Chestnut Hill? They were losing 31-10 in the middle of the 3rd quarter. Lost by 2. |
| We toured and DC couldn’t leave fast enough. DC goes to a prep school and plays 2 varsity sports. He felt the school came across as snobby. The lack of a developed engineering program was also a major drawback. |
so, wow, an amazing comeback. what fun. students must have gone crazy |
| 7 pages on the merits and vibe of BC?! Cmon DCUM, It’s the most basic of the solid but not elite colleges out there. The PP who described it in three sentences pretty much nailed it. |
You must be new. Welcome. |

Boston college actually produces great outcome/ROI for middle to low income kids.
It was pretty high on my non-Catholic Asian kid's list for business major. https://collegescorecard.ed.gov/school/?164924-Boston-College $96,325 It's even higher than Harvard This is amazing considering it doesn't even have 'real' engineering majors. People don't know what they are talking about and just speaking out of their a$$ |
If your kid wants to do engineering and you were even thinking about BC then obviously neither of you did your homework. Pretty poor reflection on both of you. |
| Wow, a New England college with a snobby atmosphere. Who’d a thunk? |
| Well...apparently the school has a football team. Who would have guessed ? |
If you think #36 in the nation is "solid but not elite" you are deeply stupid and should not even comment here. |
If you think 36 in the nation puts it in the same league as Princeton which IS elite, you need you are an idiot and should leave here. |
1-36 all sounds elite out of 3000+ |
It all depends. A BC finance graduate working at Wallstreet sounds more elite than Princeton gender study graduate. |
