such an ignorant comment probably written by someone covered in clover

BC is in general considered a step down from ND and GT which are T20ish schools, but that’s fine, BC s a great school.

If you "step down" from a T20 school to a T40 school you are condemning yourself to a life of mediocrity. Might as well save your money and become a plumber or HVAC repairman.

Are their student bars in walking
distance like a college town? I can’t imagine the Uber charges going into Boston

BC is ranked in the 30s. But the student population alone would make it more like 20s -- based on scores, gpa, etc.

It is mostly UMC to rich kids. I agree with PP but most top schools are. Stats are similar to top 20, top 10 as stated above.

If you were to ask for a typical kid I would say top student, rich, good looking, athletic (probably 2 plus sports in high school).

There are bars that are easy to access on Comm Ave and Beacon St in Brookline. And many student hosted parties off campus and in the mods. BC students do not suffer for lack of social drinking activities.

There are bars that are easy to access via shuttle/T and by foot too on Comm Ave and Beacon St in Brookline. And many student hosted parties off campus and in the mods. BC students do not suffer for lack of social drinking activities.

You've never been to Boston? Amazingly, Boston also has public transportation, e.g., the T.

The T is incredibly easy to navigate. And clean.

The NYC subway shut down overnights during the pandemic and NYers took it hard. "What is this? Boston??"

That’s insane for BC

It’s not an educational institution

It’s a finishing school for catholic kids

BC is def in the "can pay for it, won't pay for it" category for us. Not even a close call.
