Why can't police find the escaped prisoner in Philly?

You'd think a 5ft tall man would stick out and be more recognizable.

The sisters best friend is where he got some packages they said

Packages? Where is this stated? Reported?

Nevermind, Just read this on CNN news. His sister is being detained and deported evidently, for not cooperating.

Well, she’s being deported due to overstaying her visa. FAFO.

He's probably spending his days in a pool.

Meanwhile the idiot cops are spending tons of $$, blocking roads and flying their toys around constantly. It's shameful. Just imagining how excited they are for this to be !!happening!! so they don't have to do their normal jobs of bullying people is kind of gross.

I’m not in love with the po op but this is some bull shite. Helicopters are important to the search. Blocking roads is important. You’re one of those who expect the cops to solve everything easily and magically. You are a child.

Did you see the video of his escape? Don’t get me wrong - I want him to be caught but that was an impressive escape

Op here. Totally agree.

Seriously after watching that there’s a part of me that’s rooting for him. That was awesome.

He stabbed his ex-girlfriend 38 times in front of her young kids, but okay ....

Grow up. This is not a movie. The bad guy really is the bad guy.

I can not believe some of these posts. They have to be written by men.

Since the kid is BIPOC, the police are going to murder him. No doubt about it.

Poor kid doesn’t stand a chance.

Poor kid? He's an effing murderer - twice. Poor kid? Really? Just bc he's Latino?

NP, I assume the PP was being sarcastic. You don't?

Honestly PA is hunting country - i.e. first day of hunting season is a day off school/work just an hr or so east of where this is going down. When he was in the woods, they should've brought in the hunters. Those guys know how to sit in a tree all day looking for the slightest movement. I mean I'm not usually a proponent of vigilante justice but you have 400 LEO who wouldn't actually go INTO the woods/the gardens to seek him out!? Perimeters box people in but he wasn't gonna give up and stick his head out of the perimeter to turn himself in + their perimeter wasn't even tight enough to box him in since he waltzed out of there, stole a van, and drove 40 miles!?

What idiocy. They would have shot innocent civilians or one another. Who are you?

Np and I did not but I could be wrong.

He's gone. The last press conference said there is no containment area anymore and hinted he could be in an urban area - lol yeah Mexico. Or if somehow he couldn't make it to Mexico, you know he's chilling in Philly or NYC where you can blend in. Meanwhile the cops spent days setting up perimeters around corn fields.

And one down here in Richmond. Escaped from a hospital also

I thought the GW one was caught?

Nope. And now there's a $25k reward:

No way he could drive to Mexico that fast from PA. He’s still in the States.

Yeah he could it’s only a 30 hr drive - and he’s been out of the corn fields since Sat night so he’s had 48+ hrs. So timing wise yeah it’s doable. Not saying it happened bc he’d need to have stolen a car in Pa driven it for some time and then likely steal a different one bc you’d assume once the first one was reported stolen, it’d be quick for them to locate it w a nationwide ABP. All this depends on whether the sister’s boyfriend provided him a weapon and/or whether he knows how to hot wire a car - though he is a criminal so he prob does.

But yeah the Marshalls said they now think he’s in an urban area. So if not Mexico - he’s in NYC or at least Philly where he’s a needle in a haystack relative to the 10 mile stretch of Pa he was in before.

Not that many vehicles can be hot wired these days. This isn’t the olden days.

Older vehicles can still be. Not to mention if you think cars generally can't be stolen just bc they are more computerized - DC, Philly, and Chicago would like a word.

Wonder if he's still in the area - dumb as that is. His sister has been arrested so she can't help and he showed up at the homes of former coworkers who called police - doesn't sound like he has the network to get him a car, cash etc. to make a run for it.

No idea how accurate but local people reporting up there now are saying there was a sighting of someone running into the woods, they found his prison shoes and a fresh pair of tracks etc. Wonder if it really is him holed up in a barn or something. Though if it is it makes it strange that he left the woods on Saturday to get clothes, shave, steal the van etc. - what was the point of all of that if he was just going to run back into the woods 40 minutes away?
