Why can't police find the escaped prisoner in Philly?

Ever seen a guy pose with the fish? The only thing weird about this is that he isn’t in cuffs/leg irons.

Pathetic.

Yes, but it is the era we are living in.
PR.
Their bosses do it.

They want to post it on social media.

I find it distasteful, but they have come up in our culture (will surgeons soon be taking photos of their great sutures??)

You have no problem making sh*t up and posting it online obviously.

Yes. It's disgusting.

I kind of hope he escapes again.

Only a really sick or horribly ignorant person would make such a comment.
Not only did he kill 2 people, he has terrorized a rural community in PA for 2 weeks. Schools have been closed. Families have been locked in their homes. Children have been traumatized. Home owners have been threatened. And, millions have been spent on his capture.

My only regret is that he is still alive. He is a worthless human with no regard for life.

It sounds like you only have regard for some life.

Be better.

Yeah. I have high regard for people who don't stab innocent people to death.
He is a worthless human.

I hope you will share the importance of having regard for human life and being a better person with the young man who killed two people-- with the second victim left bleeding in front of her two young children after having been stabbed by him 38 TIMES.

It was too hot to use thermal imaging.

Yes. The report I heard on WTOP said that last night was one of the first nights where the night time temps dropped enough for them to be able to distinguish human body heat from background and animal body heat. A local burglar alarm had gone off earlier in the evening to help them isolate a region, then they used a thermal imager from an aircraft to help them isolate more closely, then they sent in border police trained in night tactics and K9 patrols to encircle his location and tighten the noose.

So, they weren't just sitting and waiting for approval.

Not at all. The recapture of a violent criminal who had been out and endangering the public for nearly 2 weeks is a big deal and as long as they are not making those photos public, I have no problems with them documenting the successful reincarceration of a convicted criminal.

If they were leaking those photos, I think that would be unprofessional, but taking such photos for personal documentation is fine by me.

I have more of a problem with the press leaking those videos of the photo sessions than I have with the LEOs taking those photos.

When you have someone with literally nothing to lose on the run and bunch of cops after him, it's not so out there to think he's going to end up dead. These cops have been out there risking themselves and trying to protect a community from this predator. Seemed like suicide by cop was a likely outcome.

I definitely agree.

And I don't think he stole that loaded rife with no intent to harm or kill someone else.

But you criticized him for not valuing life, and I am calling you out for being on that same spectrum
