Why do antivaxxers say Covid is nbd but vax injuries are

I can calculate the risk for myself. I don't care what others do, they can wrap themselves in hazmat suits for the next decade. Injuries are real, as well as Covid. But everyone asses their own risk and take their own responsibility to protect themselves. If it means for you to get 8 boosters and wear the mask, go for it (I invested in vaccine manufactures and in companies producing heart medicines, so I am not anivaxer, I do hope more people get vaccinated). But I would never do that shot for myself or my family.

I don't believe this for a second.

Why wasn't the elderly father vaccinated?

He was. The vaccine, as we all know, does not 100% protect against infection.

Thanks for proving our point.

My elderly parent was vaccinated maybe 5 times and still died after catching it. These vaccines are not stopping transmission like promised.

The reason why COVID is not a young anymore is because many are getting the vaccine. Anti-vaxxers are idiots. Most got it and are alive and well with no side effects.

So your cousin would have got Covid and passed it along to your uncle even if he was vaccinated.

Really? You think a sizable part of the population who resisted getting the vaccine in mid-late 2021 are NOW getting the vaccine 2+years later?
I've actually heard/read the opposite-that people who were fully on board with getting the initial two shots (and even the booster 6 months later) in 2021, are NOT rushing out to get any new boosters now in 2023.

To me, the craziest part of the vaccine mandate was that most employers and business establishments only focused on the jab while ignoring natural immunity from prior infections. It was all, show us the vaccine proof or you're out.

Here is a case study for the fact that people are notoriously bad at assessing risk

It’s really a shame at how the anti-vax crowd demonstrates how terrible our education system is and how little people understand about science, disease, etc this isn’t stuff you are supposed to learn at the graduate level. It was supposed to be taught/learned in high school. Massive failing. It’s easy to call you idiots, but really we should have compassion and remorse for how much you’ve been failed.

You fundamentally don’t understand logic, how vaccines work, risk/benefit, percentages, and many other things. It demonstrates just one more step toward Idiocracy.

Gotta love the warriors on this thread.

Fight the good fight! Vaccinate! Vaccinate! Vaccinate!

Oh, you're concerned about vaccine related injuries and deaths? You're stupid because SCIENCE!

I've been called an anti-vaxxer because I've been opposed to vaccine mandates for the general population.

Even though I was one of the first non-elderly person I know who got vaccinated back in 2021.

There can be a moderate position when it comes to vaccines, especially the covid vaccines.

What does this even mean? Most people are vaccinated with two doses. That is fully vaccinated. However, it is appropriate to express concern after multiple doses and the vaccine not stopping transmission as promised. Anyone educated would want more information now that the crisis is over.
