This is more about how you perceive/interpret the discourse than what it actually is. |
So you're for discrimination? Thought you were all about inclusion. Oh wait, ONLY when it suits your agenda. Got it. |
Being unvaccinated is not a protected group when it comes to civil rights or human rights. |
My body, my choice. |
I don't think the Vax injuries are as "extremely rare" as you say OP.
I had a severe allergic reaction to my first covid shot. It scared the Sh*t out of me! I don't know anyone in my family or friend circle who died from covid alone but I know of 6 people who were either hospitalized or died suddenly in the months following their vaccinations. I know this is all circumstantial but I think the vaccine injuries are a BFD. |
Colleges, even the very liberal ones, were giving liberal exemptions from the vaccine. I got it for my kids in UVA and Cornell. |
OK. And what is your point? I may have a million other viruses that went without any symptoms. I cannot say I had them until it was confirmed by the test, right? |
If your anecdotal evidence represented any type of trend that could be attributed to more than just you and a few people you know then we would have data on the millions of people who died from getting the covid vaccine. I'm sure you have a conspiracy theory about why that data isn't readily available though. What is an obvious trend, however, is there are many people who blame any health issue that happened after they got the vaccine on the vaccine. |
And that's completely fine. You decide whether you want a vaccine with potential consequences that a fairly minor for most, or possibly health disease after Covid. It's completely up to you. |
Well...there is a disturbing trend. https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2023/08/11/more-americans-dying-than-before-pandemic-covid-deaths/70542423007/ |

But it clearly bothers people when they find out in 2023 that there are people who never received any Covid shots. Look at this thread. |
Does the Covid vaccine prevent you from getting covid? No
Does the Covid vaccine prevent you from spreading the virus to others? No Does the vaccine prevent your community from having an outbreak? No Are there risks from taking the vaccine, including long term issues or death? Yes |
Sure, because they want to go back to "normal." I've just accepted I can't go back to "normal," partially because of all the bat crap crazy antivaxxers and antimaskers. And now we are going to have evolving Covid strains for a while, because, again, antivaxxers and and antimaskers. There are people who legitimately can't take vaccines, as well as people who have panic attacks when they try to mask. And you have that freedom not to do those things, but none of us have freedom from the consequences. |
I think we way over did it with COVID protections, I think masking is for 90% of use cases pretty f’ing stupid, schools were closed way too long, COVID fanatics are crazy and annoying, people way over estimate the risk of COVID…
Yet, I think there are some real whack jobs on here with big pharma conspiracy theories and talking about untested vaccines and vaccine injuries. Get the vaccine, move on. Stop being stupid. |
