Fourth Shooting Andrew Adkins Public Housing (Alexandria)

Step one is to stop the segregation at the middle schools and the high school. I'm tired of hearing UMC parents say "oh my kids never see anything" and ignoring the problems and just focusing on special treatment for their kids. If everyone would be thrown together, change would happen fast. Right now the high school basically has a publicly funded private school in the middle of the high school. That's not equitable.

Not to worry because Justin is getting a colonoscopy today according to his FB. What crime? Today is a new day.

The photo of the guy holding a gun was like 10 years old, wasn't it?

Yes, but he still participated in gang activity.

What gang activity? According to Canek Aguirre and John Taylor Chapman on city council there are no gangs in the city of Alexandria.

The two most filthy racist hypocrites on council. Both supported 6-7 stories in Old Town but opposed density across the street from the Metro. Why? Adkins.

How about students and their parents get their sh!r together and pass a class and not shoot or stab each other?

That’s the standard. Just exist and sometimes show up.

Some people can’t even do that and rich white liberal guilt families, who don’t live this, endure no consequences for their beliefs, don’t understand because you bought into Fairfax City or just straight up lie to you and everyone else, while your snowflake attends Sidwell. The Obamas count as diversity right?

No mention of another car jacking that just happened today?
"3307 Block of Wyndham Circle. Woman forcefully pulled out of her Lexus RX 350 early this morning 9am and was then car jacked. Helicopter support issued. Car headed North on 395."

They just ignore this?

According to this article, the perpetrator was a boy age 14.

No. Step one should be to remove problem students from public schools entirely. Their parents failed them. They should not be allowed to hijack classrooms and ruin education for everyone else. We need to bring back expulsion and remedial schools for dificult students. More segregation, not less. Get rid of the kids who are making things hell for students and teachers.

I agree with you but that isn't fashionable in education circles. It's all about restorative justice where victims have to sit in a room with their attackers and talk about being attacked.

I'm tired of a variety of people benefitting off of the state of Alexandria schools. From the UMC parents who ensure their kids get a leg up on college admissions by coming from an urban school to other enthusiastic supporters of Wilson, Council, ACPS and school board who have businesses as tutors to the UMC kids. It's in their interest to keep the status quo. Disgusting.

You may want to re-read the post. Not a lot of white UMC ladies advocating to stop the segregation at the middle schools and high schools. It's the opposite.
