BUT we can get more technical, because last weekend 2 juveniles were arrested for robbing someone at gunpoint on that pathway between the Braddock Road metro and King Street metro. I had heard they were 14 yrs old. One was arrested at West and Wythe (is that close enough for Andrew Ankins for you?) and the other off of Cook Street near OTSFD.

Now we have another shooting, almost 24 hours later, on 800 block of West Glebe (between Russell and the Dominion Power building). Outside in an area with lots of pedestrians, and care traffic. One person dead. Police begging for help as they have identified a car that was involved that of course didn't have a regular license plate (had an Enterprise car sales plate).

Was it retaliation for Sunday's afternoon shooting (where the person was shot in the head, back and foot)? This is nuts.

This shooting happened very close to the mayors house maybe now, finally, he will pay more attention to the HUGE INCREASE in crime in the city and actually do something about it now.

NP. I'm going to go with yes, retribution. On his girlfriend (or baby mama's) FB page, there's multiple photos of the victim (from Monday) with some guys at the Adkins housing project.
