The woman is 29 though! The brag is she is finishing out her 20s making good money, doing things she loves independently, and enjoying her freedom from the responsibilities of a family. If she does want a family I’m sure she will make this happen. It’s ridiculous to assume that a 29y/o who is single will be single forever unless that’s what they want. |
I mean, it's not necessarily a bad thing, though, if that's what she wants. Had several kids before 35, cut back working but still stayed in the game (law), commuting, trying to "do it all." Now that the youngest are early teens, I'm looking to earn/work more primarily because of college costs. None of that really did any wonders for my mental health or marriage, TBH; it's a lot of stress. |
The problem remains that many working women are still expected to be the person who is primarily doing all of these things, too. Spouse's job has very little flexibility. So guess who gets to do all these things while also trying to make money? |
| That’s nothing, first year biglaw associates can start at 215 at age 24 and be close to 400 by 29. |
You know they allow the gays to marry and adopt now. So, maybe not as sexist as you think, dipshit. |
F off |
Not with “no debt,” and almost nobody finishes law school at 24 lmao |
| Who cares. |
You would never denigrate a man who is unmarried & childless at 29. |
No, but maybe my grandkids will, duh |
"the gays"? So you're a homophobic and sexist dipshit. Thanks for the clarification. |
"29" .. "ended up alone"? Whut? |
|
I think I'd barf if I had to have sex with such old geezers, and I'm 50. |
