Why is that “sad”?

It’s an objectively weird thing to include in a line of “brags”, as if that was some sort of achievement or positive. And yes, I would be sad for my kid if they ended up alone

The woman is 29 though! The brag is she is finishing out her 20s making good money, doing things she loves independently, and enjoying her freedom from the responsibilities of a family. If she does want a family I’m sure she will make this happen. It’s ridiculous to assume that a 29y/o who is single will be single forever unless that’s what they want.

I mean, it's not necessarily a bad thing, though, if that's what she wants. Had several kids before 35, cut back working but still stayed in the game (law), commuting, trying to "do it all." Now that the youngest are early teens, I'm looking to earn/work more primarily because of college costs. None of that really did any wonders for my mental health or marriage, TBH; it's a lot of stress.

She has to worry all the mooch men cling in to her wanting her cash

Does your daughter hold this view ? If so, it is a great way to remain single.

I hope and pray my daughters know this. My two sisters who were successful attracted mooch men. Both with masters and good jobs. They each had three kids. Can you imagine being nine months pregnant going to executive meetings worrying about the mortgage patents while your husband is home unemployed between jobs. My other sister her idiot husband topped this guy he in 2008 lost their life savings in a Bernie madoff life Ponzi scheme. My sister was two busy with a working full time and raising three kids.

My brother and I had stay at home wives. Unlike these mooch men they gave birth, raised kids, cleaned the house, sent out holiday cards, cooked meals, drove kids around, did all the shopping. In other words way more work than I or brother did sitting in an office.

my two sisters should have hid their success as mooch men are the worst

The problem remains that many working women are still expected to be the person who is primarily doing all of these things, too. Spouse's job has very little flexibility. So guess who gets to do all these things while also trying to make money?

That’s nothing, first year biglaw associates can start at 215 at age 24 and be close to 400 by 29.

And you're a sexist dipshit

You know they allow the gays to marry and adopt now. So, maybe not as sexist as you think, dipshit.

Not with “no debt,” and almost nobody finishes law school at 24 lmao

You would never denigrate a man who is unmarried & childless at 29.

My siblings wont have any descendants to sing their praises or marvel at their exploits, like I do with my grandparents, etc. food for thought

Are you serious? highly unlikely your kids will be singing your praises.

No, but maybe my grandkids will, duh

They were road warriors, who did not buy a house, both made their parents home their home base. Every weekend, they flew home. They had a lot of hotel and airline points and they were taking a lot of wonderful vacations around the world with their parents.

They eventually married high earning men and they had saving of around a million $ each from around 10 years of working. They had their dream wedding, bought their dream home and popped out their kids. Now they are rich SAHMs in a high HHI household and pick projects to keep a foot in the industry.

That’s how you do it. Avoid the mooch men.

Or just have Robert Denero or Al Pacinos baby.

I think I'd barf if I had to have sex with such old geezers, and I'm 50.
