If Republicans get majority in the House or the Senate or if Republican candidate wins the WhiteHouse

And like the above poster, I’ve been in the fight for years, but keeping my girls alive is my absolute highest priority. I am looking at our options quite seriously because I get no medals for having a child die for the cause.

The Republicans have shown us who they are and I believe them. A Republican controlled USA is not one I can force my children to stay in.

During the pandemic, the Rs were at least open about what they were doing. The biggest disappointments were supposed liberals who told us all to stay out while they traveled. And here we are again. You’re all disgusting, wealthy hypocrites.

It doesn't mean that we hate America, but the current state of this country is alarming and becoming unsafe for future generations

+1 Being wealthy no longer insulates you from death in child birth if you can't get a sudden abortion due to religious zealots. If the doctor's hands are tied the doctor's hands are tied. Better to get the girl children out.

You're saying that money should insulate you from death????? OMG.

Listen run off to Russia, or China, or whatever country you where you think you can live out your utopian fantasy. But don't use your US citizenship to bail you out if things don't turn out the way you want abroad. Stay and be a part of the solution. And don't give the lame excuse of "I can vote abroad" and do something. Unless you're here, you have no idea what is needed. By leaving you are essentially promoting the bad guys.

Lol that you think those people with options to leave are opting for Russia and China.

I’m saying that you’re default Trumpers who haven’t figured it out yet.

Such bitterness when you figured out that the people you were gloating weren’t actually leaving… actually have the means to leave.

As for those women subject to harsh abortion laws and restricted healthcare, they are the direct result of insane conservative policies.

People who can leave has voted otherwise to try to protect women rights, I am not sure what else you want them to do. Take to the streets so you can jeer at them for wearing pink hats? You are the hypocrite so hyper focused on illegal immigration you have gutted safety for women and children.

I am still waiting for the mass exodus of 2016...

I’ve become a dual citizen since 2016. I also know 4 US citizens who used to live in the DMV that retired to Europe since 2016.

+1 I know someone who finally got Australian permanent residentship and another who applied for Portuguese golden visa before the program ended. Quips of crossing borders aside, leaving to another country takes time, and people have been making moves since the 45 presidency.

This. We filed the papers to get my husband and our daughter dual EU citizenship during the Trump administration but since we were insulated from the worst he could do (pre-Roe) didn’t investigate actually moving.

For all of you so happily telling us to go, you realize we still get to vote right?

So you hate the US, but want to retain the priviledges via dual citizenship????? You're a selfish, entitled snob. You are no different than Trump.

Hate? No.

Allow my daughter to die from medical neglect because of the insane laws supported by the likes of you? Also no.

Honey, take a look in the mirror. you’re the one supporting the anti-abortionists leaving less fortunate women to fight alone. You are a hypocrite.

You’re really trying here but it just doesn’t work. I live in the U.S. I vote, pay taxes, and donate to support poorer women’s access here in the U.S.

That does not mean I limit my options for healthcare and my daughters options to healthcare to what you say we get— that would be irresponsible of me as a parent and as a citizen.

My children and I only vote if we’re still alive.

It doesn’t take time. To get into the USA, there are organizations funded by leftists like you who hire buses to make it fast and easy. Oh, and those not as fortunate as to get one of those sacrifice their women and children to the Cartels for abuse, because they know when they illegally cross the border, they will be blessed with free phones (some of those court dates aren’t until 2035+ btw), free places to stay, free benefits, free schooling, etc. Well, not free because the government doesn’t have any money of its own.

Face it - you are moving not because of republicans, but because you recognize your safety is threatened here by the number of unvetted people being let into the country, as well as the lack of law enforcement - policies you’ve voted for. But it’s OK - YOU consider yourself elite and clearly have money, so off you go, leaving those less fortunate to live in the cesspool you created for others.

Nonsense. I am making plans so my kids don’t face anti democratic, anti choice, and lack of access to healthcare, and the possibility they can get shot up in public places. Especially when you have daughters the stripping of rights is especially alarming. Crime doesn’t even factor because yes so far we have the dough that we are insulated from it.

Grew up studying the principles of what made America a great democracy and sad to see the cesspool it has become. Other countries have better technology and are safer. People are making back up plans quietly. Another example, another couple I know got French citizenship through descent.

So let me get this straight: You’ve voted for the criminal policies you are now escaping because you are wealthy. Lack of access to health care - yup, the more people you bring in, the longer your wait. Bring in unvetted? Crime goes up. Equity? Crime goes up. You have the LUXURY to focus on abortion because you don’t have to deal with the consequences of your vote.

Start by looking at the NYT:

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/15/opinion/nyc-black-victims-crime.html

Recently a gym had to pay a black woman millions because she sued them for racism after they fired her. She was late for work over 45 times in that year alone. The argument was that white people weren’t fired for being late. The problem wasn’t late; the problem was the amount of times she was late, and her attitude about being late. A white person could not sue if he/she was fired for the same reason.

For your information civil rights investigations/cases aren't decided by whim; if they proved the company did indeed treat white employees differently and there was a pattern and practice of discrimination, it was on a factual basis.

Weren't you all supposed to be moving to Canada when Bush and Trump were elected along with your girlfriend Rose McGowan? We hear this same kind of bellyaching every time whiny entitled Dems don't get their way. It's not like the country was doing better under Dem leadership in Biden's first two years when the Dems had a mandate. You all let crime explode across the country, huge amounts of illegal immigration and a fentanyl crisis to flood in, and couldn't even do student loan forgiveness like you promised, lol. What an abject failure under the Dems.
