If Republicans get majority in the House or the Senate or if Republican candidate wins the WhiteHouse

If Rs win all three branches come 2024, expect some massive upheavals in the government. Fully expect the FBI to be completely shut down. And a lot of investigations into the Bidens and other senior figures.

I’ve become a dual citizen since 2016. I also know 4 US citizens who used to live in the DMV that retired to Europe since 2016.

+1 I know someone who finally got Australian permanent residentship and another who applied for Portuguese golden visa before the program ended. Quips of crossing borders aside, leaving to another country takes time, and people have been making moves since the 45 presidency.

It doesn’t take time. To get into the USA, there are organizations funded by leftists like you who hire buses to make it fast and easy. Oh, and those not as fortunate as to get one of those sacrifice their women and children to the Cartels for abuse, because they know when they illegally cross the border, they will be blessed with free phones (some of those court dates aren’t until 2035+ btw), free places to stay, free benefits, free schooling, etc. Well, not free because the government doesn’t have any money of its own.

Face it - you are moving not because of republicans, but because you recognize your safety is threatened here by the number of unvetted people being let into the country, as well as the lack of law enforcement - policies you’ve voted for. But it’s OK - YOU consider yourself elite and clearly have money, so off you go, leaving those less fortunate to live in the cesspool you created for others.

Nonsense. I am making plans so my kids don’t face anti democratic, anti choice, and lack of access to healthcare, and the possibility they can get shot up in public places. Especially when you have daughters the stripping of rights is especially alarming. Crime doesn’t even factor because yes so far we have the dough that we are insulated from it.

Grew up studying the principles of what made America a great democracy and sad to see the cesspool it has become. Other countries have better technology and are safer. People are making back up plans quietly. Another example, another couple I know got French citizenship through descent.

So let me get this straight: You’ve voted for the criminal policies you are now escaping because you are wealthy. Lack of access to health care - yup, the more people you bring in, the longer your wait. Bring in unvetted? Crime goes up. Equity? Crime goes up. You have the LUXURY to focus on abortion because you don’t have to deal with the consequences of your vote.

Recently a gym had to pay a black woman millions because she sued them for racism after they fired her. She was late for work over 45 times in that year alone. The argument was that white people weren’t fired for being late. The problem wasn’t late; the problem was the amount of times she was late, and her attitude about being late. A white person could not sue if he/she was fired for the same reason.

That doesn’t support your assertion that crime goes up.

America has been over for awhile, but it's just now coming into focus. I feel like Obama's election broke some brains and then when Sandy Hook happened and we did nothing we lost our soul.

it’s easy to feel like things won’t get better but we’re already seeing signs of pushback. Parents and publishers joining together to stand up to bans, incredible voter registration and activism from young people, even anti abortion PAC Susan B. Anthony is moderating. The pendulum is swinging back but it will take all of us taking a stand and standing up for our freedoms. When we come together, we can do anything.

You were OK with Silicon Valley doing the DNC's dirty work and shadow banning selected opinion

You were OK with the 2020 summer riots

But now it's the end of world if you don't get your way?

PS - Forget your incoming rationalizations. I don't care.

Dude, lay off the Kool Aid.

RWNJs are so lame. You just repeat the same lies and exaggerations over and over. It would just be boring and annoying if you weren't voting so many psychos into office.

Why would things go bad with just Republicans controlling the House, and not now?

I think OP is worried that the Republicans may get control of everything post 2024.

That's why I called out the use of 'or'.

It isn’t easy to just move elsewhere. You have to have a darn good reason.

I know someone who is going with her child to Spain. Her daughter is attending college there and mom is getting a digital nomad visa, iirc.

You didn’t read the article you posted, did you?

She was awarded millions because her employer engaged in blatant racism including honoring requests from white clients to choose the race of their trainers, and then retaliating against her when she reported that specific— and illegal— behavior. So really the crime rate went down in her workplace because of her, and by firing her, the person who reported the crime, her workplace was covering up criminal activity, or trying to.

Also worth noting is a judge did not make this award, a jury did. A racially diverse jury.

But thank you for playing.

Are you stating that people can’t choose their own trainer and that the club should assign one?

I’m stating that the law (about which you care so much, right? Because you’re worried about crime?) says you cannot discriminate based on certain criteria, one of which is race. If someone walks into a restaurant and says “I want a black waitress” the restaurant is committing a crime by agreeing to that request. Same for a personal trainer— the client did not ask for a particular trainer, they asked for a *white* trainer. That is, again, illegal. Why are you on the side of the criminals again?

It takes awhile to plan a move. It took me a year to buy property in another country and it will take a year or two to apply for permanent residency for my spouse. People are making moves.
