If Republicans get majority in the House or the Senate or if Republican candidate wins the WhiteHouse

I just hope all you "Henny Penny-ers" who vowed to leave in 2016 will actually follow through this time.
Go find your liberal paradise in some socialist country.

Trump will likely be in prison and MAGA Base will still vote for Trump wherever he may be. DeSantis can only win in Florida. Scott is eliminated in the first primary. Hutchison is too sane for the Republicans.

We wish that we could.

I am still waiting for the mass exodus of 2016...

I’ve become a dual citizen since 2016. I also know 4 US citizens who used to live in the DMV that retired to Europe since 2016.

+1 I know someone who finally got Australian permanent residentship and another who applied for Portuguese golden visa before the program ended. Quips of crossing borders aside, leaving to another country takes time, and people have been making moves since the 45 presidency.

Well fine; WE ARE GONE!

Already looking for a place to live in Portugal. In Portugal, healthcare is free. No one is homeless.

Everything is better in Portugal!!

Bye bye, you dumb dumbs!

It takes awhile to plan a move. It took me a year to buy property in another country and it will take a year or two to apply for permanent residency for my spouse. People are making moves.

You mean you just can't cross the border and go?

As a US citizen, of course you can.

You can simply cross the border into whatever country your want and become a resident without any sort of paperwork?

So many of them quietly moved to Florida, claiming they had ‘no choice’, and have no plans to leave. What you will start to hear is “why should I leave when I can change things from inside?”

If Republicans win the White House and both houses, look out Feds. They are aiming their sights on you high earning DCUM Feds. They are going to make you schedule F, then fire you.

It doesn’t take time. To get into the USA, there are organizations funded by leftists like you who hire buses to make it fast and easy. Oh, and those not as fortunate as to get one of those sacrifice their women and children to the Cartels for abuse, because they know when they illegally cross the border, they will be blessed with free phones (some of those court dates aren’t until 2035+ btw), free places to stay, free benefits, free schooling, etc. Well, not free because the government doesn’t have any money of its own.

Face it - you are moving not because of republicans, but because you recognize your safety is threatened here by the number of unvetted people being let into the country, as well as the lack of law enforcement - policies you’ve voted for. But it’s OK - YOU consider yourself elite and clearly have money, so off you go, leaving those less fortunate to live in the cesspool you created for others.

Hopefully those that promised to leave in the past will do so and many more will join them. It would be great to see places like California and New York recovery their former glory.

Having cities where it is safe to walk the street would be great to see as well.

Nonsense. I am making plans so my kids don’t face anti democratic, anti choice, and lack of access to healthcare, and the possibility they can get shot up in public places. Especially when you have daughters the stripping of rights is especially alarming. Crime doesn’t even factor because yes so far we have the dough that we are insulated from it.

Grew up studying the principles of what made America a great democracy and sad to see the cesspool it has become. Other countries have better technology and are safer. People are making back up plans quietly. Another example, another couple I know got French citizenship through descent.

America has been over for awhile, but it's just now coming into focus. I feel like Obama's election broke some brains and then when Sandy Hook happened and we did nothing we lost our soul.

it’s easy to feel like things won’t get better but we’re already seeing signs of pushback. Parents and publishers joining together to stand up to bans, incredible voter registration and activism from young people, even anti abortion PAC Susan B. Anthony is moderating. The pendulum is swinging back but it will take all of us taking a stand and standing up for our freedoms. When we come together, we can do anything.

You were OK with Silicon Valley doing the DNC's dirty work and shadow banning selected opinion

You were OK with the 2020 summer riots

But now it's the end of world if you don't get your way?

PS - Forget your incoming rationalizations. I don't care.

Democrats: everything we want is a human right. Eveything we don't like is banned.

Now that's "democracy"!
