I think many of us want to protect our female children from the gathering mess that abortion bans (which is what most congressional republicans want) will bring

There are also problems with LGBTQ+ rights, religious encroachment into civil institutions, election laws, and of course, guns

It doesn't mean that we hate America, but the current state of this country is alarming and becoming unsafe for future generations

I’m of the mind that the pandemic showed we are all on our own. I’m all about community, but this country and definitely the Rs have shown me they don’t care about anyone but themselves.

And like the above poster, I’ve been in the fight for years, but keeping my girls alive is my absolute highest priority. I am looking at our options quite seriously because I get no medals for having a child die for the cause.
