The fact that there were multiple cars and a motorcycle changes the dynamics of this situation drastically. If the vehicles were driving fast and the motorcycle is revving at 10PM, it could definitely give some home invasion vibes. The articles have also been pretty vague about where they were actually trying to go, and who was in this convoy.

A lot of people have been on edge these last few years, in part because a lot of other people have become far more inconsiderate and entitled. Maybe if you are lost and going somewhere you are not familiar with, you should act considerate to those around you. It could just prevent a conflict like this.

Whoa! So the women were using the parking lot for a carpool area and the guy was probably using the parking lot for a crime (drugs, something else) area and they unfortunately intersected.
