Twice I've been lost and had to turn into a driveway to turn around on a small road in broad daylight Both times, IMMEDIATELY, someone came out of the house to confront me. It was like they were sitting by the front window.
In the first instance, I explained I was lost and was turning the car around. The response was - Well, turn your car around somewhere else. This was before GPS. Second instance, the homeowner was helpful to the extreme in giving me directions. This was in a non-GPS available area. If it was my driveway and someone I didn't know pulled up, I'd assume they might have gotten the wrong address and give them a little time to see if the car turns around. If not, I'd then go out and ask what I can do for them if it was broad daylight. I don't understand what someone would want to steal from my home, my 10 year old laptop? That guy's actions were so depressing. |
