Strange response. New poster to this thread, as I said. There is nothing wrong with wanting the school to be better administratively and to discussing issues on a public forum. That does not mean I have not also discussed my views with leaders at the school directly. I am also a major donor to the school and am not a member of any little clique. Sorry that I don’t fit into your narrative. There are many others like me as well.

Stop donating if you are that unhappy. Find a school that works better for you.

It is so strange that you think it works like this. Either "find a new school" or shut up and be happy? Stop donating why? I like the school and I also encourage them to do and be better. Which they know and admit that they can.

You must lead a very sad, mouse-like existence. Sorry for you.

I lead a very happy and content existence. Trying to make someone who disagrees with you look sad has just the opposite effect. I know this js how it works. Throwing a tantrum under the guise of "encouraging them to do better" is very transparent.

Who is throwing a tantrum? Not me, I promise you.

Tell me, where in the community do you fit in? How supportive of the school are you financially? What are you doing to support the campaign?

Wow. That says a lot about how community member$ are valued. You can't complain unless you contribute. Nice.

No, that’s not what was said or suggested. The point is that pp is trying to pigeonhole parents in a way that does not reflect reality. To pp, it is not possible for a parent to like the school and be supportive of it, and to also acknowledge where and how school could do a lot better than it does. To pp, any parent who finds fault in the school is a complainer who is “throwing a tantrum.” And the reality is very different.

Last time. What is your list of these areas and the fact base that demonstrated the school
could do better, and how?
You don’t respond, you are throwing a tantrum. It’s as simple as that. And really tedious.

There’s no point engaging in a detailed discussion with you on a public message board about specific facts. As you or others have said, DCUM is not the place to get into those details, they should be discussed with school leadership. As they have been. Without “throwing a tantrum.”

To deny that issues exist though is delusional. I understand that you can’t get the stars out of your eyes because your precious little one has the great fortune of attending the school of the Clintons, Bidens and Obamas. But people who see the school as it is aren’t complainers or throwing a tantrum just because you say they are.

So why do you throw a tantrum every 10 days on average? It’s amusing but also really harmful in the dumbest of ways
Anonymous
No school is perfect. But I only see the SFS OP being goons who spread fact less innuendos on the regulars. GDS doesn’t, NCS doesn’t, STA doesn’t and they have lots more issues.

I’m in a lot of meetings, and you’ve never ever spoken up.

I’m not OP. I just think it is ridiculous how you and others respond to people who raise legitimate issues about the school on this message board. There are issues at the school, and it is delusional to insist that there are none.
Anonymous
But that’s just it! You haven’t raised a single legitimate issue. Again, what are your issues?

I’m only participating because this is so amusing. The issues side goes from I won’t tell you what the issues are to insulting anyone who disagrees and/or asks them to reveal the secret issues. Your way of communicating betrays who you are and it’s pretty ugly.

Gosh, OP is pathetic and with a massive chip on their (her?) shoulder. Starts in your fellow parents’ eyes? You poor poor loser.

How about we just leave it at terrible communications as evidenced by this most recent snafu, and then everything Keith said to parents last spring about the school as he was leaving. If you do not know what he said, then maybe you are the outsider. I’ll leave it to you whether those are “legitimate” or not.

No, I’m not OP and so I wouldn’t share them here. If I did share the facts here, they would (probably properly) be deleted by the moderator.

This only proves that Sidwell has a big name recognition!

A thread devoid of any facts has nearly 5000 views and is still going.

That why OPs post. They get an audience and are titillated by it.

Nope. Because that would be very wrong and not reflective of a collective experience.

I think Keith also told most of you to calm down and not be rude clowns at games. How’s that.

Gotta love the deflecting and incoherent non sequitur when you are confronted with actual issues.

You’ve named no issues. Not one. The one you did was solved by the time you mouthbreathed this thread.

It’s not incoherent. If you’ll quote the man, be honest. And calm the f down.
