Sidwell re-enrollment deposit snafu!

Do piss off. “Many” they are not, and no one (bar you?) is “furious”. So lame 😒

Then you are not reenrolled so there’s a spot for the many normal parents who are hoping their DC gets an opportunity you’re hogging yet hating on

That’s the point, not all parents got the apology. Only the ones who hadn’t paid yet got the apology and the offer for a refund. Not very Quakerly.

You are gross. Not how no one ever says about anyone but especially their own school that’s it’s not very Catholic, not very Islamic, not very Jewish, not very Asian, not very Western… Because it’s highly inappropriate and I’d hope very few people think that way (bigoted), and yet you are bothered by Quakerism and think it’s fair game. Time to look in the mirror and see a BIGOT and a BORE to BOOT

Why don’t SFS parents have an online group for these petty complaints?

So many groups. But the OPs keep so quiet and brownnose. I bet you OP didn’t even write the admin to inquire. Had they not sent her the apology letter (which no one I know asked for or received, and I know most people), she would not even know she had a made up issue to run here to complain about

I actually think OP is diagnosable. I’m guessing histrionic personality disorder; could also be an early attachment disorder and “inferiority complex”

I’m not understanding. Contracts and payments aren’t due yet. Was there an error in the due date messaging?

Just to clarify. The school would never penalize anyone who thought the early deposit was too much and wanted to pay less. I don’t even know what it was, will need to ask the spouse and they didn’t even mention it. We obviously didn’t think there was an issue but if there was one it could be handled easily and discreetly.

I really think there’s just one OP of all these threads (or a very small toxic minority of 2-3 people). It seems like a compulsive behavior for a quick dopamine hit. Like these mums and an assistant principal that were caught (after a long time) defecating on the lawns and athletic track at their school.

We did ours. No issue

But OP and her “many” friends were “furious”

Sounds like a great parent community.

To clarify, serial defecator was at a New Jersey school.

OP is a serial mental turd creator and then she returns to the scene and I assume breathes excitedly in the background when people respond to the turd

Please do it. You got your ass handed to you the last time you did it. People are already hating on you on page 1 this time because you’re so transparent and repetitive. Can’t wait.

Yes, the numerous responses from SFS parents are enlightening. Is that the sort of language encouraged at the school?

So basically, Sidwell upped their deposit amount this year and failed to communicate it. A mistake for sure, but it sounds like they are responding to their communication error by not forcing people to pay the higher deposit. No dog in this fight, but what else would you like Sidwell to do, OP? They made a communication mistake and are doing what they can to rectify it.
