I hope you reflect on how you insulted and bullied another parent online. Stop pretending you have the moral high ground.

Oh, come on! Bullied, no. Trolled and roiled, maybe.

NP.

All of the above, actually.

Also, add insulting children to your list.

Now say your prayers. Then go to bed.

Not exactly a response on the merits.

Are you supposing anything in this thread has any merit? The only thing it’s good for is ammunition for people to use to mock SFS. You make it so easy.

Wow. None of you are SFS parents. But honestly the OP is the OG bully.

From: a current Upper School Sidwell parent
To: anyone still reading this thread

>90% of Sidwell parents (and hopefully more) would be appalled at this thread. The school administration makes mistakes sometimes. This was one of those mistakes. They got called on it, and rectified the situation. What I have read on this thread is some of the most un-Quakerly conduct I have seen. I’m happy my child has the opportunity to get a great education. When I have an issue with the school, I make a discrete inquiry. This forum is not the place to air grievances. Posters, you are embarrassing the rest of us.

😏 resurrecting an old thread and I’m guessing because there was nothing to cut and paste into a new thread this week

dcum is the OPs’ social life and these threads are like a history of the pathology

Kids have been trolling these for years and yet it won’t stop

This phrasing is a dead giveaway. It’s a very peculiar turn of phrase used in particular (still English-speaking) locale.

I think it’s a high time for an anonymous petition, a recent innovation brought to you by OP-type communicators

Anonymous wrote:My theories
1. OP pulled their kid from the school in a fit of fury, then decided they wanted to return and wasn’t given the red carpet treatment.
2. These are high school kids. I know a few private high school kids who have admitted trolling DCUM, so it’s possible. The example I was shown was done startlingly well, fwiw.
3. OP is part of the new crop of private school parents that have no issue being a complete a-hole to their children’s educators, aka “the help.” I’m astonished at the change in parents’ behavior in recent years. Everyone is so me me me me me.

Nailed it (not sure about 1, but it’s clearly a very personal animus)

3 is absolutely correct. And it’s funny to observe, no wasp-ish self-censorship in the nouveau times!
