I just came upon this thread, and what OP said is true. My kid is in strings (it was going to be a joint concert for chorus and strings), and the teacher told the kids what OP heard. I'm also disappointed by the school's lack of transparency.

You may think that you are funny. And you probably don't have a kid in school. And you are probably not Jewish so you don't need to worry that your kid will be bullied because he/she is "guilty" for canceling the concert.

If it is true that one family complained and made the school cancel, the kids is going to get some flak. Karen's should think about the effects on their children before they act.

Seriously it was canceled because it wasn't diverse enough? Is that a true statement?
