Kate Middleton's suit

She’s rocking the monochrome trend this trip. When I saw the post title, I thought we’d be tearing apart this gigantic bow…
Honestly she could wear a clown costume and still look great.

I think she and Meghan are both gorgeous and routinely both knock it out of the park.

I can’t believe the media isn’t talking about her eating disorder.

The media isn’t allowed to say anything negative about her. Instead we’re supposed to believe she’s “disciplined.”

How do you know she has an eating disorder? Are you her doctor?

I like Kate and think she's very beautiful. But I'm disappointed with her looks on this trip. Far far too conservative, boring and somehow style-less. She is usually a very safe conservative dresser but even within these red lines, she'd worn outfits with way more character and expression.

Me too.
I love her classic fun sporty outfits from years past. Whyyyyyyy couldn’t she had worn one of those to the basketball game??? God she needs a new stylist!!
She is so stunning and always looks amazing but I need more variety especially with hateful, awful, jealous villainous Meghan Markle and her nightmarish crazy trolls lurking everywhere to bully her!!!

I don't like what she wore to the game (this is like outdated Escada type) but I note her body language with William looks way more warm than normal.

I just don’t understand with all her natural beauty, style, stylists, resources, etc, it was decided that going to the US meant dressing like Hillary Clinton.

I wonder if Kate's gotten even more conservative bc she's now next in line for Queen (rather than being another step removed before QEII's death).

I realized I have never seen her in so many pant suits - maybe it's bc she knows she will be surrounded by press and doesn't want any wardrobe malfunctions (skirt blowing up, legs crossing, etc)?

Queen Letizia of Spain is the same except for the mega buff arms which is from working out.

So you’re not supposed to body shame fatties right???? STOP body shaming skinnies!!!! Mind your own business.

She absolutely 100% does have an eating disorder. I knew her at university and she was significantly larger. She doesn’t eat now, and likely does extreme exercise.

Oh, sure you did.

Her weight looks consistent and she has great muscle tone. I’m sure she is very disciplined in her diet and exercise, but she looks heathy. Her weight is not significantly different from college. I bet there is maybe a 10 lbs difference. Likely the result of less beer, less fast food, and less stress.

Same stylist. Bizarre.

This is it.

Plus, she's not 25 anymore. She's smart to play it safe, plus it's freezing in Boston.

The blind defense of people we don't know is amazing. I not a fan nor a hater but this is ridiculous. We've seen her in 3 monochromatic pantsuits. Not since Hillary (and Hillary had many reasons to stick with that look). The actual 90 yr old queen had a more daring wardrobe. Admit Kate could have done better or was ill-advised.

Because it is more important to her and her family that she be "appropriate" and represent the BRF in a restrained and conservative way, than to be stylish and make news with her clothes. Like Hillary Clinton, she is more interested in doing her job well than in exciting you with her clothes. There are many, many actresses and socialites and influencers and models who would be thrilled to have you look at each of their outfits and buy the clothes they are wearing and get excited about their style. An entire industry revolves around this. Kate is not a part of that industry and has a different job that is not actually about being a fashion plate and she wants to do that job well, which means no exciting fashion. Ever. She can wear very pretty evening gowns when appropriate, but otherwise it's conservative suits and matching hats and classic colors and prints forever. It's part of the gig, it's her literal job.

But she looked better last week. The sudden change in the US looks so (mis)calculated.
