| She looks great. |
She’s not short legged, these pants are simply awful. |
| The suit is fine. It’s hard to hate a suit. What was on her itinerary for the day in Boston? Maybe that is what dictated her outfit choice. |
| the green plaid number she just wore was fantastic. Honestly, best figure around and she must be a dream to dress. You know everything is going to look good. |
It’s not the same book—she’s not the future monarch, she’s the future consort. So she doesn’t want to outshine William. Remember that was always a criticism of Diana, that she drew attention away from Charles? |
Huh? A day flight in first class. You essentially are waited on for 7 hours and have everything brought to you and time to freshen up. They also had almost the entire cabin and their entourage included her hair person. How could you look anything but great? |
She could have done it just by cutting carbs and drinking. A lot of people can lose weight like that after college. In her case, she was able to keep it off which not many do but she has a chef, a nanny, many free hours to work out every day, etc. |
That was Charles’s problem. By all accounts, William actually loves and adores his wife. I’m sure he is pleased for her when she gets attention and doesn’t care if it detracts from him. |
Well, there’s William personally, and then there’s The Firm, the institution. You think she doesn’t know the rules? She follows them perfectly. She literally walks one step behind her husband at formal occasions—you don’t think she gets that you don’t outshine your husband: 1) Especially at daytime events (evening dress is another matter) 2) While you are still in mourning? They’re going to be keeping it somber for a while. I’m surprised so many of you don’t get that now is not the time for a “pop of color.” |
I don’t know, is that really a positive thing? Why not have a little more to eat? |
Obviously she has all the resources and pressure to stay fit but her schedule is pretty heavy and her life is always under a magnifying lens. |
| This is not a flattery suit, she sort of pulled it off thanks to her tall and slim body but it would've looked hideous on most people. |
I think the shoes would have been better if she hadn't been wearing such tan hosiery. It really draws attention to her feet in a bad way. If she had worn hose with a light gray tint or even navy, there wouldn't have been such a shocking contrast. As it is, in the full-length picture, the first thing you see is her feet. However, she looks lovely, as she always does. Her role is not to draw attention to herself unless it is some really special event. She looks stylish but unassuming and that was just the right touch for her that day. |
Lol she had a hair and makeup team on the flight, and was on a private airplane, not sitting in coach with the fasten seatbelt light on the whole time because of turbulence. You'd look fabulous too. |

In the UK wearing tan/nude hosiery is more common than in the US.
