Same lawyer is representing KCA. She is described as an experienced land use attorney. While that may be true, she also is quite good at telling rich people what they want to hear and extracting significant fees from them. God's work, I guess? |
The main problem is that an organization with the words “planning” in its name can just up and do something without any planning. Frequently when things are done in the county, when people protest or complain the response is that “it was in the master plan”. There is no master plan here or any plan whatsoever. They willy nilly decided to do this with no community input, except post-hoc. The government should lose, because it’s irresponsible behavior. |
Oh, of course it is. She's good at getting money from rich people and then losing their lawsuits. |

Finally someone with some logic. I for one, welcome the speed bumps and anything else that would slow down the yahoos on that stretch. |
1. There actually are plans. Nobody just woke up one fine morning and said, You know what? Today is a great day to start repaving and restriping Old Georgetown Road! 2. When you consider "how this affects people day to day", please also include (a) people who are not driving and (b) people who were killed on those roads. |
You're cute. |
I posted the tweet and I am not Robert Dyer. I don’t even like him other than his providing a news service. |
Yup |
I live in Somerset. I drive on LFP and Old Georgetown and I don't see any significant impact on traffic -- other than slowing cars down. And that's good. |

Stop the hyperbole. It’s so ridiculous and make you look silly. No one has ever been killed in a car accident or by any other means along Little Falls Parkway in the 3 decades I have lived here. There was one fatality at the intersection of Little Falls Parkway and the CCT, following which they reduced the lanes at that specific intersection and no one had died since. |
So nobody has been killed on Little Falls Parkway, except for the person who was killed on Little Falls Parkway, but that's ok because nobody else has been killed on Little Falls Parkway since... |
They were killed at the intersection with the trail not “along the parkway”. |
