Interesting that my late menopause means I’m living longer.

I started my period late which meant I’m taller.

I’m Irish so I might live till 100 ugh!

Happy for you OP! I am 56 and just got my period again, 26 days after my last one. When did you finally skip one? I keep hoping each month but it's back again.

I asked my OBGYN about this- I was told I’m still menstruating at midlife because of BCP pill. It prevents the release of the egg.

If the ovary does not release an egg, then I still have many eggs to release later on in life … that is why in my 50’s I still have my period…I will probably still be menstruating into my 60’s if my math is correct

52 and periods are getting more frequent rather than less. Fun.
