SIL left our door open while we were out of town- no apology. Should I say something to her?

Did she bring any friends to visit and stay in your house while you were gone? Can you verify this with a neighbor or camera or mailman or anything?

Maybe her friends were leaving the door ajar as they all came and went. Not cool still.

And sloppy departures if door wasnt locked or closed to the point it could blow open or stay open.

Can you befriend some neighbors? If you have some friendly neighbors, you'll get a text saying, "Your front door has been open all day . . . are you home? Do you want me to close it?"

Did you ask SIL if she had others or friends using your house as well? Maybe they left it open. Not that they should have even been there in the first place, so violating.
