PSA. Stop saying “frat” it’s very uncool

Thanks for the PSA, OP.

Frat.

Fratty frat. If frat bros can stop hazing kids to death and stop acting like primitive men, I might be able to learn to say fraternity. We can hope.

Saying “frat” (cringe) is telling that you were never in a fraternity or sorority. The exceptions are those people who also use Preggo and hubby. Insufferable.

yyeeeaaah but that's not true.

I am pretty sure at this point you are just a troll looking to stir the pot.

I still want to know why it is okay to use "frat" in print but forbidden to speak aloud (except when it isn't).

What's the deal?

Frat, frat, frat. It's what you are.

Or, we attended colleges that don't have those things (thank God), and we only have the time and care to give you one syllable of our breath.

What's really uncool is an apparent college student hanging out on this board. No girlfriend, eh, Chad? Time hanging heavy on your hands?

Sorry, not sorry, sweetheart.

It’s very fratty to object to “frat.” And the Greek system is the opposite of”cool.” Drunk, snotty frat boys are not cool. They are dorky try hards.

Stop saying "PSA," it's uncool.

And by the way, Greek refers to a people and a culture. It's greek when referring to college kids playing dress-up to exclude and haze each other to the point of death, according to AP Style.

I say "frat" on purpose to annoy former frat boys.

Most people would want others to know that they were not in a fraternity. It is something I would advertise, vs the alternative.

No one cares NEARLY as much as you, OP.
