PSA. Stop saying “frat” it’s very uncool

Anonymous

I say frat to indicate my contempt for them. Do I need to clarify with an expletive, just for you, OP?

I guess they also think it's uncool to use sentences, and that's why you don't do it.
I will continue to do both, freely!

It’s really funny to see all the loser DC moms demonstrate such an inferiority complex about fraternities and Greek life.

Stop trying to make 'fraternity' happen, Brayden. It's not going to happen.

No it’s just people being dumb no one in a fraternity uses that term.

Ton of fake fraternity members hanging out at GreekRank?

"Nice/smart kids, but throw sub par parties. Get more hype from their house but just average frat."

"not good. these guys think they are all that but they really aren't. very average parties, usually all freshmen who don't know where else to go because they can't go to the top frats yet. all around nothing special of a frat with guys who act like they are better then they are. i'd pick somewhere else to go."

"Stay away from this frat. At one of their parties my friend was given an open drink and spent the rest of the day throwing up. Obviously we know why this is. Stay away"

"best frat house at UM by far. Its thesis in frat form. good looking guys who have fun and are nice to girls. could have better parties tho"

Did you want links to members of this fraternity and others referring to "frat house" in social media? How many would be enough?

You know what’s even more uncool than a frat? Posting this deeply stupid thread.

And many of us don’t like College Greek culture, so call it what we want.

Happy to be uncool in the eyes of a frat boy.

Anonymous wrote:“Would you call your country a c*nt” is the standard retort to someone calling it a “frat.”

Ds is in Greek life and he says frat though more commonly says the proper name of his house rather than frat or fraternity.

I was in a sorority 30 years ago and we called them frats.

Wonder if it varies by geography?
