No one under 22 is on dcum but who cares about frat terminology beyond that age? This has to be a joke.

Again, these are videos posted by a rush chairman. Let me know if you need more. As I said, there are plenty examples out there.

When he talks, he says the word "fraternity." Multiple times. Never says frat.

Ahhhh ... so you missed the two fraternity brothers in the earlier video? They definitely spoke the word. Did you need a repost?

But I guess your opinion now is that it's totally cool, no problem at all, in print, but it cannot touch the tongue? Can you clarify that? Because I'll post more videos with the closed captioning, if you want. You've been hoodwinked about this, I think.

No one ever says, “hey guys we have a fraternity meeting tonight.” It’s frat.

But who even says “cool” and “uncool”? No one that the cool kids would consider “cool”.

My kid is in a fraternity and just tonight told me he has "frat flu." In other words, a really bad cold. ANyway, he calls it frat all the time.

Please stop talking about your frat past your college years. I’m glad it was a great experience for you but, really, you’re going to be some middle aged guy leading the charge against use of the word “frat”? Let the kids call it what they want.

No, no, man. They can use the word, but just in the holy written form. They cannot EVER let it be spoken, except when it is, because of reasons. I don't know. Op can explain.

The people who get uptight about the word “frat” are the people who thought their time in a Greek house was the highlight of their whole life and who think non-Greeks are losers who couldn’t get in.

This has got to be one of the all time stupidest threads ever. Unreal.

+1. This is downright stupid.

I've heard two sorority sisters refer to each other as "soror." That definitely sounds worse than frat.

One of the supposed real fraternity brothers in that video got the colors of his claimed fraternity wrong. Highly suspect.

But it's okay in writing, right? Why is that, bro?
