Any idea when rosters and coaches will be posted to the AS website? Seems DC is lagging other areas who had tryouts after this region.

Guessing if you were one of the 6 field players for the 2023 team that bothered to show up for tryouts you made the team. Question is how many will even accept, if offered. The 2023 DC team will end up being more of a MD team with a few players from VA.

My daughter is already committed and agree with pp, not spending $700 for this event when it does nothing for her or won’t change the outcome of her status. I think the price tag is crazy and a money grab. We didn’t need to play for any special team like AS, these teams are all about the money.
Recipe for success- grades, tournaments, and attend multiple times the specific camps for the colleges she wants to go to, and be persistent in communicating with the coaches.

several girls didn't even try out in person. my daughter is on the same team as them and they still made the team. It is $ grab. That's it. some of the girls aren't even that strong. wow

The 2025 and 2026 teams look fairly strong but the 2024 not as much. Maybe ‘24s are trying out for the MD team, but that will be competitive.

Really curious what the reasoning is that Long Island gets three teams per AG (besides $$$). Wonder if MD will do similar.

you may think the 25s and 26s look strong but pulling girls mostly from one team with some not even trying out doesn't make them strong. money grab.
