Republicans take it to a new level.

They also battle manufactured demons with impressive fervor.

Yes, I get it. Those people who I don't agree with are incomparably worse than the people who I do agree with.

When is the last time the democrats stormed the capital attempting to prevent the peaceful transition of power?

I don't remember seeing Youngkin there. Was he behind the podium?

The guy who wouldn’t say that Biden won for months - until AFTER he won the nomination?

The guy pushing election integrity?

Spineless hack.

Will send property values down the toilet.

Actually, exactly the opposite will happen.

Nope. The kids who can snag a spot are the ones with savvy, engaged parents. Your local neighborhood school is left with the dregs, depressing test scores, GS schools, and property values.

All of the wealthy parents will use vouchers to subsidize their private education. It will do little to support lower-income students. So the rich kids will be off to privates/religious schools while the poor kids are left behind in schools with significantly less funding. It will be a death spiral for public schools.

And Nate Bailey was DeVos’ chief of staff.

The Ds starting the death spiral with no in person school option for a year. It’s a real hole to climb out of.

Ds have done more for private schooling, homeschooling and public support for vouchers than any stereotypical fundamentalist Christian Republican could ever dream.

They simply showed what it means to give the government so much control of your child’s schooling.

No school unless they say so, except for those with the time and money for private and homeschooling. Those depending on government school were forced to just eat their failure/callous disregard.

I am so disappointed in Virginia voters falling for lies and killing our schools. One year closed because of an over cautious response to a novel, global pandemic can be forgiven. Uneducated voters falling for propaganda and a modern Southern strategy voting in an administration that aims to kill public schools and a full education in favor of book banning and religious charter schools cannot. Not only will our kids and our schools suffer under this DeVos approach but so will our property values.

"Religious" charter schools? That hasn't been proposed at all. Stop the ridiculous fear-mongering.

Doubt this will happen but if it does it will be corrupt, hypocritical School Board members responsible for people getting fed up with the public schools.

Nope. It will be the angry parents who made irrational decisions who flush our schools down the toilet.

Good -- maybe kids will stop the perversion of their sexuality.

Sooooo -- the truth emerges. You are more worried about your property values than your children being educated so that they can compete globally.
