If covid just confined itself to killing the unvaccinated, at this point I’d be fine with it, so long as each hospital provided only comfort care to unvaccinated patients. These states are populated by the people who claim to have “personal responsibility” and “common sense.” I know they’re propagandized, but at this point they have chosen to remain propagandized. So: personal responsibility and common sense. If they can’t get vaccinated and wear masks as necessary, common sense dictates that the rest of us shouldn’t bear the burden of their stupidity.

I’m trying to figure out if I can do a trip to Europe with DD as a HS grad gift this summer. And let me assure you my number one fear is that we get COVID overseas and can’t come home. And there we are in forced quarantine in a foreign country for two weeks.

If you are going to get on a plane and travel to a foreign country, the responsible thing to do is mitigate your COVID risk as much as possible. So yes. That means a booster (once you boost J&J that’s as vaxxed as 3 other shots).

Plus, other countries have the right to defend their population against variants from other nations. And they can certainly choose not to let unboosted Americans in if they feel it’s necessary for their public health. As can we.

I don’t see the issue.

Now, I wish the DMV could require Boosters from the red staters.

Covid is an Airborne Infectious Disease- airborne- that means it survives in droplet form in ANY indoor space be that an Airport, a store, a shipping container , an 18 wheeler.

The Zoo animals have it for Christ's sake

And, as for " just let the dumb Red state people die" what about newborns ? What about the long term cost on a society from all of the cardiac inflammation and long covid- no to mention the medical costs.

We are already drowning in obesity and opioid addiction and you want to add cardio- myopathy in children to it.

Okay, both sides it. Pretend that it’s been the Democrats with the social division. Go take a gander at the Herman Cain Award winners’ social media pages and tell me that those people aren’t on the side of division. The Democrats have been getting their shots, urging others to get their shots, wearing their masks….

I’m the PP at the top of the page who said we should just offer comfort care for unvaccinated people and as far as adults go, I stand by that. They’ve made their choices. When they fill up hospitals and beds are unavailable for people with other health problems, they’re actively harming other people. I’m done. I’m sick of this. I’m sick of having to second guess every single trip to the library for whether or not it’s safe for my kids. I’m sick of not getting together with family. One side is actively pushing the pandemic to continue and I have had enough of their pettiness.

when the vast majority of unvaxxed are Rs, it has become red vs blue. Liberals don't want people to die. I think you are confused about that. But, the reality is that a ton of Rs refuse to get vax. Wrong. Many countries are limiting boosters and nearly every country accepts Janssen.

The original poster was suggested we let unvaxed die of COVID. In Europe (and in the US soon too) that logic may extend to letting anyone who got vaccine more than 6 months ago and did not get booster die of COVID.

Europe does not accept J & J vaccine. We don't accept Russian vaccine. Not sure based on what science or lack there of.
