So I guess the main question at this point, as the 4th wave starts, is will the rate of death by anti-vaxxers mitigate the impact of extreme gerrymandering such that the Dems can keep the House and extend in the Senate? |
Is it horrible that I am thinking “hey, possible silver lining” |
Won't it be the 5th? And no, not even close. |
How is this not today's headline?
https://www.politico.com/news/2021/11/12/trump-cdc-covid-521128 [i]New emails and documents released by a congressional committee investigating the Trump administration’s handling of the pandemic show the extent to which top White House officials interfered in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s efforts to warn Americans about Covid-19.[/] |
Because the GOP media is busy being Chicken Little about inflation and the DeMs In DiSaRrAy. Trump bears the responsibility for about a million deaths and that’s a fact that goes pretty much unremarked on. But they hustle to remark “both sides,” even in regards to covid. |
Because we already know? We have Trump on tape telling Woodward: [i]I always wanted to play it down. |
And instead, may be hoisted by their own petard. |
Nah. They’ve rigged enough states, gerrymandered more and have no problems any of the basest kinds of cheating. The mortality rate for Republicans from covid is something like 30-80% higher just because they are so much less likely to be vaccinated and they refused and refuse to believe that covid is real and they take no precautions, but they’ve cheated themselves into a silo where they’re still likely to win. |
They are just pure evil I am so sickened that people are happy to give the keys back to them |

Those are some insane numbers. Especially West Virginia, which is adjacent to some of the most highly vaccinated counties/states in the country. It really is a cultural issue. |
