Maybe you think it's funny that maybe, just maybe, the driver wasn't drinking and speeding, and that two people weren't killed. And that no adult parent was hosting the party. But then you'd be saying the Montgomery County Police Department was lying.

I think the police had the actual facts when they reported the facts.
You, my friend, are shameful.

And "no one understands the applicable laws."
You sound like his defense lawyer.

Honey, in the United States, you're not guilty of a crime until proven guilty. See, for example, the OJ Simpson case.

Honey, are you trying to say the Montgomery County police messed up when they reported the verified evidence to the press? You ain't so smart if that's what you're up to.

Or are you just a concerned citizen with no personal connection?

Any answer to this question?

I have no idea what you're trying to say but I don't have to "try" to say anything.

Also, there is no "scene of the crime" yet. Nobody has been charged with anything yet, let alone convicted.

Hi just don't want people gossiping because he's white and well off. But that black kid who raped his date next to the court house this summer? We can go on and on gossiping about him. Saying ALL kinds of stuff about him. AND his victim. Truth be damned.

I don't know the facts here, but usually the "adult" that provides the alcohol is just someone barely over 21 or it is a liquor store that couldn't detect a fake id, rarely is it a parent.

In either case, I think that person, if found guilty, should go to jail too.

Focus, please -- this gossip, on this thread.

The police reported the facts, and you know it. The adult was the parent at the party crime site, his home.

What personal information have you been sharing here, PP?

Are you an attorney? Not that you're expected to tell the truth, or anything...

Why are you claiming, "No one here knows the facts as determined by law enforcement" when everyone (who cares) knows that law enforcement in fact had promptly shared the facts with the press?

You are the epitome of the classic shyster, aren't you? Just my observation.

PP, given your personal attacks (see above), what is your personal connection here? If you are a close friend or family member of one of the people who died, or of somebody who died in a similar incident, I am sorry for your loss. Or are you just a concerned citizen with no personal connection?

There has been a lot of not answering this question.

I'm not who you are responding to, but I care. I'm a neighbor. I watch the massive drug use through Wootton, and so many parents looking the other way. For all I know they are encouraging it, so that their kids are "cool." I watch the drug sales out on the street. I see the shit many of the kids in this extended crowd post on twitter/instagram, racist vile stuff, all their drinking and drugging activities, how far they get with girls.

I want there to be "some" consequences, or "something" to happen to make people wake up and start acting more responsibly.

I assume this story?

Here are the facts as reported by the police department. It's for the shyster poster insisting that "no one here knows the facts as determined by law enforcement." The shyster poster is dead wrong and he knows it.

Too many people here care about those two dead kids. And yes, they also care about the driver who was provided the alcohol by the parent at the underaged drinking party.

That North Potomac parent who hosted the drinking party is the one who really needs to go to jail, just as another poster already said. Until that happens, more MoCo kids are sure to die this tragic death.

Time to fix the laws that protect these criminal parent party hosts. They need to know jail time awaits them if they host HS drinking parties for minors.
The time is now, before the next kid dies.

Nothing is "personal" until you state your name, or other identifying details about yourself. Except for the names in the press, it appears to me that posters here are anonymous, no?
