It'll be over when LLI, the new Board members, DC gov, and perhaps the IRS weigh in.

But so far, the work of Erin and Mike should be appreciated. The stink is slowly leaving.

There is a new President in town and her name is Ashleigh Coniglio. She and the rest of the new leadership are going to clean things up. Hats off to the revolution.
New Treasurer is Margie Yaeger.
New V.P. is Jed Edeler.
New Secretary is Kathleen Quinn.
New Safety Officer is Dermot Maher and Eric Bensky (from the old guard) is the new Player Agent (whatever that is).
Davenport and Rossi are out as President and Treasurer.

This is all so bizarre. There has been an election, and while Ricky and Rossi are still on the board, there is now new leadership that with any luck will move the league forward. For some reason, NWLL has not emailed the membership with the Board leadership election results--although someone appears to have posted them a page back.

One would think that those two would be helpful in the transition, as they will be working with the new majority for 2024--and their futures depend in no small part on the new faces handling lingering issues as calmly and rationally as possible.

But hey, that's theory. The reality of leadership not going peacefully has unfortunate precedent in our fair city.

Congratulations to the new officers and new board members. The jobs will probably be 2x the work this year due to the preceding chaos. Thank you for getting the train back on track.

Talk about inside baseball. This was a secret meeting of the new board that somehow made it to this MAGA site pretty quickly.

Hopefully they will reach out to the community for candidates to fill other positions, particularly commissioners. Lots of talented and capable fresh faces out there to help move the league forward.

The old board is in office until the end of the year. They could post or communicate the results. And it’s an internal meeting of the board-elect to determine executive positions. People that talk about secret meetings and trying to tie league reform to MAGA(?) are very silly.

Not true - new board was in power as soon as the vote was completed but no idea when they start meeting.

I did get an email message about the election results FWIW - hopefully the new board will do a lot better about communicating what is going on - a lot of this bickering of the last 4 months might have been precluded if everyone wasn't left to make their own inferences about what was going on instead of relying on some knucklehead men bickering for their info.

In years of my DS playing NWLL, I never got notice of any Board meetings. Only the Annual Meeting. Whatever.

Agree 100%. Need new people running the show at commissioner level. Last year not fun.
