We will not just "stay home," and squander the beautiful weather. Instead, we'll: --Get our boat in the water. Swim, sunbathe, tow the inner tube around the lake!! --Go kayaking with friends --Play basketball, tennis, bocce, volleyball, horseshoes with close friends, once the stay home order is lifted in our state. --Have outdoor social distanced bbqs --Go camping at private campgrounds where they offer a lot of fun activities and ability to be outdoors with nature --Find small hotels that are open, with open swimming pools. The risks in outdoor activities is proven to be small. So we will enjoy the great outdoors in 2020. |
You are obnoxious. |
+1 |
So you are planning to essentially not take any precautions. And be on your boat.
Good plan, op. Everyone can do this. |
Isn't that nice for you. Most people don't have boats and access to a lake and maybe not have incomes to pay for "small hotels with pools." Heck, most of us have to, you know, WORK to put food on the table.
But super awesome for your that you don't have these worries, but maybe keep that to yourself because you sound like a jackass. |
I don't think campgrounds will open anytime soon. The bathroom facilities situation is ripe for infection. |
No, we will take plenty of precautions. But we won't keep our kids locked away, screwing over their summer for our own paranoia. |
Keeping telling yourself this. We actually don't have a lot of money. It's a pontoon we got for $4 grand. And we work a lot. No trust fund babies here. But our mindset will not be one of getting the least out of the summer, like so many moms of the DCUM. Life is Beautiful! |
We just got a notice from one we frequent that they plan to be open this summer mid Julyish, for longtime patrons. |
+2 You're gross, OP, and no one cares. |
Yep. |
Congrats!! You have money! (Clap clap) |
Nope. Doesn't take much money to have a small used boat and used kayaks. |
Enjoy your weeks of coughing and fever. Coworker caught coronavirus at a socially distanced backyard party a couple weeks ago. |
Sure they did. |
