If it had indeed bee infiltrated by the 2028 Donkeys the number of pages would be 10X.

It’s early….
Cap 27 weekend is actually the most intriguing of the weekend. Underrated, it could foretell the future of the club given their bracket.

Good luck to them.

Welp
Yeah... been trying to prepare the past and present Cap moms that love recruiting future Cap moms. They don't want to hear it. Water will find its level and there's still a lot of time left so nothing set in stone yet.

This is incoherent nonsense.

OK:
- Capital has enjoyed great success for awhile. They've been top 10-ish teams for a bunch of those years.
- Once you slide out of that group, things get exponentially harder.
- If you run out a couple of years of that in a row, it would be my guess it could get real tough to run a model on peeling all the top players in the area, depending on the circumstances.

OMG dude, take your M&D DC sales pitch to the 2029 forum.

Does this mean the future don't look good?

You guys are going to make it real tough to be objective all year.
Start out at #15.
0-2-1 vs #14, 22 and 27. Handled twice, including by the #27 squad.
As I said, they still have time to get things going.

Who said anything about MnD? You have BLC players to have to grab, too.

Cap 27’s won’t win many games this fall. They have too many injuries. Maybe they’ll be better in the Summer.

Cap struggled last year also. Everyone has injuries. Some talent still there. But they are no longer a team that can play with top 10-15 teams

Lots of mindless chatter on this page. Had a daughter that played for Cap Blue 23. Their squad didn’t have a great Freshman or Sophomore Fall year, but came together the Summer of Sophomore year when it counted. Had a great recruiting year — better than every club in The area with the exception of maybe Skywalkers. The recruiting machine of Cap, especially with Ivy League and similar schools is superior. College coaches don’t care about club records. They look for girls who play great fundamental lacrosse, work hard and have good academic backgrounds. People should mellow out.

Let’s hope because my daughter’s team did not share the ball this weekend.

Unfortunately Cap ‘27 is nowhere close to a Top Team after this weekend. They are fringe Top 15 Healthy, and they aren’t healthy now.
Anonymous
I would slot them around 11 if healthy. They beat teams in the 7-14 range in the summer and tied #4 (Aces). Currently, they are probably around 17. Tough to win when missing key players.

I would slot them around 15 if healthy. Which is where the finished last year. Currently, they are charitably somewhere in the 20s.

One of their leading scorers is likely out all fall with a hip injury

you guys really need to change your perspective. It is not about the rankings! It is about individual development, and learning to play as a team. Play off ball, make smart decisions with the ball, learn to shoot properly, play heads up defense. Do all of that and you will win more games than lose. Focusing on rankings is just the wrong place to put your attention. It will put undo pressure on girls and prevent them from developing.
