That's not necessarily true in the emergency room. |
The infants and babies who played Jack weren't blind, but the child playing toddle Jack has low vision. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2022/04/06/is-jack-in-this-is-us-really-blind/ |
| The mystery of Kevin's wife - it will be Madison. Madison decides to become a polygamist and marry both Elijah and Kevin. Mark my words. |
| The whole time Jack was walking to the park I’m thinking to myself there is no way no one would have stopped to check on him. All those cars going past and not one person stopped. Not feasable. |
| The writers always have a twist. What if the ‘death’ scene is not Rebecca? Maybe Kate? |
First PP here. Foundation was just ruling out Zoe, for anyone still considering her a possibility. It was a white woman's makeup. Bra size-- yeah, a stretch to get a detail like that right, as I said. I still think the interaction in the doorway looks like a couple and not just close friends. The looks, the body language, the "I told you 12 times this morning. . ." As Kate's friend, Madison would be spending most of her time before the wedding with Kate, except for when taking care of the kids. So 12 times? Also, if Kevin is married to Sophie, she'd be there with Kate, along with Madison and Beth, but we don't see her. I mean, who knows? I'm just saying that there are enough pro-Madison signs that it wouldn't be a crazy twist. I do hope it's Madison. They have a really healthy relationship. The only thing going against it is Kevin's perception of his feelings for her, but he's never seemed to have a realistic sense of what love looks like. (Think of how strong and wrong he was with that woman/fan he dated once, only to find out she married with a celebrity hall pass.) If you go by how he acts with Madison, how he treats her, it looks like love. He understands her. He accommodates her needs. He sacrifices his own wants and needs for her benefit. I will be disappointed in the writers if they make it Sophie. They never had a healthy relationship. He cheated on her the first time, lied about his addiction the second time. It would be so lame of Sophie to take him back after that. How could she trust him? How could they have a healthier dynamic? Those things are hard to change if you've known someone for a long time. I could see it if they had been apart for all those years after their divorce when really young, but the recent addiction thing is really hard to disregard. |
I agree he and Sophie never had a healthy relationship. First he was immature and selfish, then he was immature, selfish, and an alcoholic. He seems to have finally grown up though I agree it’s implausible she could trust him after everything he put her through. But she’s characterized as being saintly a la Rebecca, the usual angelic woman trope. If it does happen, I hope it’s written well. Madison is the mother of his children and it’s clear he really cares about her. But 2 years in and no romantic feelings is also implausible. I think he would have had an epiphany by now if that spark had developed. |
I wonder if the writers changed the original plan because it demonized Toby too much. This version made a point of dividing the blame between him and Kate. But, yes, I think we were set up to think Toby being careless with the big green egg was going to injure Jack. |
| Where did Beth disappear to halfway through the ep? |
| I wonder if the Big Green Egg company asked them not to make their grill a villain. |
She was taking cater Toby’s and Kate’s adopted baby. |
Not possible. I just watched it. It’s definitely Rebecca. |
umm you could have said “ other baby” or “Jacks sister” my daughter is my daughter, not my adopted daughter. |
WOW! Picky! And someone would have asked when did Kate have another pregnancy. It was a clarification. And true. |
But I wonder why we never see Kate…things that make you go hmmmm….. |
