One day, but they're another state that seems to have Dems in the lead and then the Republican pulls it out at the last minute. I am worried about NV too-that's a D incumbent that is too close for comfort.

In the North Carolina voters' defense (as someone who lives in North Carolina), the last D candidate, Cal Cunningham, who was running a close Senate race against Thom Tillis was found out - just weeks before the election - to have been having an affair while he was in the military. Up until then, I believe he was favored to win. I'm pretty sure that propelled Tillis over the finish line.

Hmmm. I don’t recall voters having an issue with someone else who liked grabbing certain parts of the female anatomy.

Not sure what point you think you’re making the point you are IN FACT making, in recent elections:

-Republican voters are 100% cool w/ sexual assault
-Democratic voters are not as cool w/ sexual assault

Weird

Clinton??

What about Clinton? The allegations were sketchy. The accusers like Juanita Broaddrick were happy to run their mouths on FOX News but when it came time to lay a hand on a Bible and repeat what she said on FOX under penalty of perjury oddly she suddenly got cold feet.

+1 If that was a valid, provable allegation Ken Starr would have run with it, and he didn’t. Plus, no one ever got the chance to vote for Clinton after that.

Back into this century and the 2022 Senate race, it was a banner day for Dr. Oz when a completely incompetent campaign video of him attempting to grocery shop went viral today.

I can’t take the secondhand embarrassment. What does he do?

He tries to show everyone that he's a man of the people by shopping at "Wegners." He complains about the prices of vegetables for the "crudité" his wife asked him to get. Then he blames Joe Biden.

1. He doesn't know the name of the supermarket. It's a Redner's, but he seemingly combines Redner's with Wegman's to come up with Wegners.
2. Crudité??? Who says this? Most working-class Pennsylvanians watching this are probably like "what's he shopping for?" Those look like veggies to me.
3. The fresh salsa he picks up is $6! And he says, "there must be shortage of salsa!" Of course the shelf is well-stocked with salsa. And does this idiot even know that salsa is primarily tomatoes, which is in overabundance right now???

And then at the end, he says, "We have Joe Biden to thank for this!" It's hilarious. You really should watch it. My favorite comment on Twitter (sorry, I don't know how to quote Twitter) is by @MikeMikusPA "My grandfather once told me that crudité was his favorite thing to eat after a long, hard day in the steel mill"

I’m still in shock that someone on his campaign team thought that was a positive video to post? Who buys premade guacamole? It’s so gross and that murky green color.

WTF happened to Oz? Once upon a time he was actually a respected physician.

That was about 20 years ago. He has sold his soul and medical license for a buck

Bwahhahaha. Let them eat crudite!!

https://www.newsweek.com/john-fetterman-fundraises-dr-oz-adlet-them-eat-crudite-us-senate-pennsylvania-1733857?amp=1

Pennsylvania Lt. Governor John Fetterman is now fundraising for his U.S. Senate race using a video by his Republican opponent and celebrity surgeon Dr. Mehmet Oz.

To honor Dr. Oz's love for crudités and Wegners (and also because it's my birthday) we're launching this NEW limited edition sticker," Fetterman tweeted.

"Make a donation of any amount + it's all yours," the Democrat said, adding: "Because it's actually just a veggie tray."

He included a link to a page at fundraising platform ActBlue, which seeks donations to his campaign and says, in part, "We can't wait to send you your Crudité sticker, friend."

The sticker features a logo for the non-existent grocery store "Wegners" and the slogan "Let Them Eat Crudité."
