One theory is that she is pregnant and will want to marry someone to give the baby legitimacy. Or disguise its true parentage.

If Sansa is pregnant, the baby is legitimate. She was married to the father.

But she was still married to Tyrion - who isn't dead. So I don't think her marriage to Ramsey 'counted,' and thus, her child would still be illegitimate. And she's been gone from King's Landing too long for that baby to be considered Tyrion's in any feasible way.

Her marriage to Tyrion was declared void before she married Ramsay. Littlefinger and Roose Bolton made sure that her marriage to Ramsay was legal.

Ah. Must have missed that.

It would seem that if Sansa was pregnant it would be revealed/showing by now. She escaped Ramsey many months ago.

I can never figure out Ltitle Finger. He's always manipulating people.

Agreed. I showed very late in my pregnancy, but still had a bump by 6 months. Also, she wouldn't be horse back riding that late in a pregnancy. That's an excellent way to miscarry.

Pure mythology.

Unlike this show...

Honestly though, PP is right. Riding horseback is not an "excellent way to miscarry" any more than any other physical exercise. My mother rode horses up until the week I was born.

The child would be heir to the Dreadfort. She could have the child and send it to the Dreadfort with someone she trusts to be raised. (Brienne maybe) It wouldn't be the first noble/royal child to be sent away from its mother to be raised by other people. She could stay at Winterfell and never see it.

Foolish to abort a child, even Ramsey's child, when that child cements your hold on a second major castle in the North.

Well put. This complements the comment Yara made to Dany about the fact that they both had terrible fathers. Of course, naively, I think I'd prefer to have their fathers than Ramsey, who might've eaten his own young if the mood struck him. Oy, this brings me back to my earlier post likening Ramsey to Hannibal Lector.

Also, what's Arya's next move? She spent the whole last season training "to be a girl without a name". Now what?

Despite the hate amongst the kingdons, they're all going to have to band together to fight the whitealkers. Only Brie, Jon, and Sam have valerian swords. I can't imagine they're the only 3 to be able to take down the whitewalkers.

Arts' next move is to avenge her family using the skills she learned as a trainee of The Many Faced God.

I believe she's still got a list of people she's aiming to kill.

The Mountain, Cersei, and the Executioner.

Oh, and Lord Frey.

I think the Hound was on the list. Did she cross him off the list when she left him to live or die after his fight with Brienne?

I wonder with the smirk on what's his name with the faceless men, if Arya's training was intended to make her who she was meant to be. The fact that she didn't just follow orders to kill may a somewhat neutral point. She's someone who could bring in more faces by being herself. She has a friggin' kill list!

There's actually been a fair amount of bitching on fan sites -- "this whole seasons has been feminist bullshit" "this is a girl show now" wah wah wah. I guess because Daenerys, Sansa, and Arya have all been so strong this season (plus, per usual....Yara, Meera, Brienne, and now Lady Mormont...) I think they are missing the point. It's not just the women that are stepping up now--it's all people who are damaged in some way--either born damaged or otherwise "less than" like Tyrion and Jon Snow, or who have been damaged--like Jaime and Theon. We keep seeing people who aren't expected to step up (the Onion Knight, Sam Tarly) be better people than those who have everything. I don't think it's as much about feminism as it is about power in general.

But fanboys are gonna be wankers....

Well between all the battles and wars, Westeros has lost a lot of men. Women need to step up because the men are dropping like flies.

I actually find it a heavy-handed attempt to balance the misogyny of previous seasons.

But I think in all cases it makes sense, so I don't mind it!

Ned's sword was melted down to make two swords. Joffrey had a sword, so I guess it went to Tommen. What happened to Rob Stark's sword? Was it given to Ramsey?

Rob didn't have a valyrian steel sword, but as someone else mentioned there are a handful of other swords out there, the show hasn't necessarily mentioned them:

Um how do you suggest she get around then? People ride horses all the time pregnant. Plus if I was pregnant with Ramsey's child I'd do everything I could to miscarry.

Syrio was a braavo, a street fighter, who became First Sword of Bravos. Jaquen is a faceless man, an assassin serving the Many-Faced God. They are different orders or types of fighters/killers. And in the books Jaquen wasn't at the House of Black and White- it was a kindly man who ran things, who said he never heard of Jaquen.
