WHO CARES. JD failed. You all got us into a war with no exit and we are in every possible way worse off than one month ago. In every possible way. FIX THAT. |

Maybe negotiations would go better if the President's son in law wasn't the one doing the negotiating.

It is noted that Iran wants the strait tolls paid in their currency now, rials, not crypto. This was a sticking point for trump and kushner, who profit from crypto. These Iranians are smart. |
Maybe they are smart, certainly the Americans have been unbelievably DUMB. Dangerously dumb. Absolutely shockingly dumb. |
That's a big and bad sign. They were willing to cut Trump and Witkoff in until JD showed up. |
This is what happens when you have people who more concerned with their own wealth vs the welfare of the country. Trump’s folly is costing us a lot money of money on a daily basis and it’s obvious it’s going to cost a lot more. It’s hard to handle all of this winning 🙄 |

Reports on the US–Iran talks suggest a stark contrast in preparation, raising questions about which side is genuinely intent on reaching a resolution.
The US delegation arrived only on the 11th in a rush. After landing, Vance is said to have taken a four-hour rest to recover from jet lag. By the time he reached the negotiating room, the Iranian team had already outlined the main points for the opening round of discussions. Sources claim the US had not even finalized the agenda with the Pakistani side beforehand and was instead working off a framework put forward by Iran. This last-minute approach sits uneasily alongside the fact that the US delegation numbered around 300 people. The US side reportedly brought only a few pages of broad, principle-based proposals, while the Iranian delegation arrived with extensive documentation and draft agreements. Their materials included over 120 pages of technical specifications on nuclear facility safety alone, suggesting a far higher level of preparation and a clearer commitment to producing concrete outcomes. |
| I am really disappointed that Vance couldn’t handle this. I assumed he’d apologize, agree to their terms behind closed doors, then come out and tell a bunch of lies about winning the war. I think the sticking point is USA believes the lies, but the rest of the world doesn’t. One way around this is USA pays reparations for war crimes, why couldn’t Vance handle that?! |
WH pool reports don’t show a four hour rest, maybe 2 hrs? Regardless, USA could have released the Iranian assets in Qatar and other foreign banks, and it sounds like that was on the table at first - that could have acted as war crimes reparations and freed up the strait without tolls. How did Vance mess this up!!! |
|
Adding that shocked and disgusted that they’ve all left Pakistan to run home to the USA with tails between their legs!
Unbelievable. |
+100% |
Not just us. The WHOLE WORLD is worse off than one month ago. And thousands have died, had their homes destroyed, and suffered serious lasting trauma. What a way to make the world mad at the USA, trump! |
It’s fine for the US to close Cuba’s and Venezuela’s waters, and it’s fine for Israel to close Gaza’s waters, but if Iran blocks the countries that waged war against it from the Strait Of Hormuz, that’s unacceptable? |
| Netanyahu's call to Vance during the meeting shifted the focus from US-Iran negotiations to Israel's interests. |
