My 60ish coworker was lamenting the Czech neighborhood that used to be in our city and said "I don't know what happened to all those people. I guess they moved to the suburbs or something" and I said "They mixed with everyone else! Do you know how many 1/4 Czech people are out there? Like myself?" They got no government assistance. That's the difference people care about. |

BREAKING: CNN admits Tim Walz lost the debate |
We all knew what he meant. He was talking about meeting with parents of the Sandy Hook shooting. He has met with victims. I would trust this man who makes normal wording mistakes on a national debate stage like most of us would over that smarmy snake-oil salesman who lied his way through the entire debate any day. |
Yes, the ones that came in the 1600s (not 16th century) formed the nation and government of the USA. Yes, including the slaves. They and their their descendants are not immigrants. |
I disagree. He nailed Vance to the wall at the end. Nailed him to the wall. And he was far more thoughtful and genuine. |

Which is why the Biden/Harris administration got a bunch of government funding to support building solar panel plants in the U.S. |
My great-grandparents got no government assistance and they lived squalid lives. 10 people in a tiny 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom house. Lots of drinking and probably not a little bit of violence. Would have been greatly helped by some government assistance. |
Nope. The came from elsewhere. There were other people who were already here at that point. They were immigrants. |
Agree! Not everyone likes slick! Especially middle america. |
