I think Walz is a natural prevaricator. I would love to know if his son really witnessed a school shooting. There was another anecdote Walz mentioned about his son on Jan 6, which sounded shady as well. I honestly believe he can’t help himself. I find it worrisome.

Yeah so your ancestors came over here on a boat some time after the 16th century, just like most of American's ancestors did.

Yeah, we know. Immigration starts the minute after your immigrant ancestor arrived.

My people were here at the founding, so no immigrants in my family tree.

Unless your ancestors were native american, they were not here at the founding, they were the first violent conquerors. And even the native american tribes migrated from other areas at some point in the distant past.

Doesn't matter. It seems that how your ancestors came affects your philosophy on the issue. Descendants of immigrants think this country is a nation of immigrants, established unorganically and very deliberately to create opportunities for people from other countries to make money and support their immediate families and their families back home monetarily.
