BREAKFAST IS DEAD! At least this is what Dr. Oz wants us to think..

So apparently Dr. Oz thinks that the concept of breakfast is insane
and should be phased out immediately!

He suggested that everyone should be canceling breakfast and brunching instead. The doctor claims that people don’t actually need to eat as soon as they get out of bed. Instead, he suggests everyone waits a few hours until they truly feel hungry before chowing down on their very first meal of the day.

So, let's hear it ..

I never eat breakfast. My first meal is lunch, around noon.

And now we got a holy war!

Apparently Mark Wahlberg thinks differently and is not shy to express himself:

Mark Wahlberg
Dr. Oz is Wrong!!!!
Breakfast CANNOT Be Cancelled!!!

Dr Oz is a quack, ask a real doctor.

I think we force kids to eat when they are not hungry so they have food before school.I

It's unnecessary... But I don't think we should cancel breakfast.

Maybe 9, 1 and 6
Or
10, 2 and 7

But 7am, 12 and 6-8 is forced to fit a a schedule not normal eating habits.

I almost always skip breakfast and just drink coffee because thats what works for me. I wouldn’t trust Dr Oz on anything though. Eat if you’re hungry.

I'm a teacher. If I don't eat and have my coffee before class starts at 8:00, all bets are off as to when I'll be able to eat again.

It’s what I do, but I’m overweight...

Who are the people who don't know that Dr. Oz is a complete quack? No one should be taking medical advice from him.

Burn more calories than you eat. Eat all your calories in a 1 hour window, or split it up over 24. It doesn't really matter in the long run. Eat mostly quality foods - fruits, vegetables, things from the rainbow and packed with fiber, vitamins, minerals, and water.

Done.

And waiting until 6 p.m. to eat dinner is?

You've got it all figured out. If people only listened to you there would be no obesity or anorexia nervosa.

No it would healthier to eat at 9 or 10 but your school doesn’t care about health, another reason our kids are f’d.

I lost fifty pounds last year eating healthfully and walking - but I also credit intermittent fasting. I only eat between the hours of 11/12 to 6/7pm. Now I am maintaining the weight loss doing the same - I never eat before 11 or 12.

It’s no big deal.
