BREAKFAST IS DEAD! At least this is what Dr. Oz wants us to think..

I can skip breakfast about half the time (and don't miss it). Most days I have to fight to get DD to eat something before school. She's not a breakfast person.

Now we could both eat breakfast type foods at any time of day. We had pancakes for dinner last night.

I don't watch or take advice from a guy who had plastic surgery that make his eye brows stand up half way on his forehead!

+ 1 He'll say anything to get ratings.

Everyone is different. Some people wake up hungry. Some don't. Shut up Dr. Oz.

That doesn’t mean it’s heslthy.

And waiting until 6 p.m. to eat dinner is?

No it would healthier to eat at 9 or 10 but your school doesn’t care about health, another reason our kids are f’d.

The school is her employer. Are you saying that all jobs should have a breakfast period, like they do a lunch period? Why can't school employees, like students, be expected to eat breakfast before the workday begins?

Stop making everything the school's responsibility. That attitude is why our society is f'd.

Burn more calories than you eat. Eat all your calories in a 1 hour window, or split it up over 24. It doesn't really matter in the long run. Eat mostly quality foods - fruits, vegetables, things from the rainbow and packed with fiber, vitamins, minerals, and water.

Done.

Well, for autophagy, it actually does master that you have a fast period.

Everyone is different. And age has an impact. I was a 100% breakfasted eater for 38-39 years until I hit 40 and started gaining weight. I ended up cutting out breakfast and my weight stabilized without feeling deprived. I have 3 kids and 1 eats a full breakfast, lunch and light dinner. 2 others just aren’t hungry when they wake up and wait for lunch (hue lunch and dinner plus midday snack). All of us are a healthy weight and are active. I truly think the key is that it’s different for everyone and you have to learn to listen to your body.
