I wish I could figure out how to post the picture directly into the post. She looks so beautiful.

Yes, chic and beautiful, best she's ever looked. The jewels belong to the queen, stunning.

Kate is elegant. Regal. Her coat was gorgeous, her hair was perfect, and the jewelry was lovely.

I agree. She looked gorgeous as always.

I agree too. How does she choose everything so well? I know she has help but still.

It helps when your one job in life is to look good.

Even if that were my only job in life I still wouldn’t choose as well as she does. Or know how to hire people to choose.

I think the Queen is very much aware of how many people were not able to be with their loved ones or hold significant services during the pandemic. This was a wonderful, endearing, and regal way of honoring her husband while connecting with people in Britain and beyond.
Her life has included many moments like this, including during WWII. It was, indeed, heartbreaking, and it also was a whole-hearted way of demonstrating her leadership during a time of shared struggle.

I have tremendous respect for her.

Does anyone really need to be told to visit their almost 100-year old grandparent that they haven’t seen in a year? I guess the Oprah interview was more important.

I am guessing Oprah is regretting getting drawn into this mess.

How did you see the tears? I could barely see her face.

Nah. Oprah regrets nothing. But maybe Harry is regretting it.

Who cares?

You do apparently.

Will Harry and Meghan return for the baby’s christening in the Royal gown? Archie wore it last and I assume Zara and Eugenia’s babies will wear it soon.

I doubt it. The palace is still doing things to try to put him in his place. For example, deliberately excluding Archie from great grandchildren photos. I bet he’s glad he doesn’t have to deal with these passive aggressive slights on a daily basis anymore.

Yep. She made a respected choice.

People are really behind her for that. This funeral was 'small' by royal standards but there are 125,000 British people who didn't get to have a funeral of mourners (the limit was 4) or say goodbye to a loved one at their bedside.

The Queen was surrounded by her family and this choice helped cement that even though she had a first-rate funeral (by normal standards) she's still feeling the same loss.

If you are talking about those private family photos released this week that Kate took of the Queen and Prince Philip at Balmoral with Baby Louis and the other grandchildren, Archie wasn't even born then!!!! And once Archie WAS born, Meghan and Harry ditched going to Balmoral to stay with the Queen and Prince Philip and instead went to Ibiza and Elton John's private estate in Italy. They kept declining holiday visits to Sandringham and Balmoral. And then, they left for Canada. Meghan holds the copyright on the ONE photo they have of Archie with the Queen and Prince Philip, which was already published.

You cannot release photos of Archie with his royal relatives that DO NOT exist. So just stop with this false narrative.

You are very dismissive of motherhood.
